Favourite Ice Cream Flavour

For me it's a two way split:

• Clotted Cream - best with apple pie/crumble
• Honeycombe - just that little bit of happy crunch!

My favourite brand is rather boutique - Salcombe Dairy. But after that? Most places in central Venice or, at a stretch, Haagen Daaz or Ben and Jerrys.

Peanut butter and chocolate - has to be Baskin-Robbins, Haagen-Dazs, or Target brand. All others don't have the right frozen peanut butter consistency or quantity.

There is no way I can have a favorite ice cream flavor. I like to get something different all the time, but I lean towards ones with a toffee / caramel kind of flavor. Salted Caramel, Pralines & Cream, Butter Brickle, Caramel Toffee Crunch (Tillamook brand). I also like coffee varieties like Espresso Chip, Jamoca Almond Fudge (BR), and I really like seasonal flavors especially the pumpkin pie or caramel apple ones in the fall, or blueberry cheesecake in the summer. I like chocolate ones fine, but others take priority. I think it's weird that my kids always want the exact same thing every time we get ice cream. For a long time I bought Edy's brand from the store, but lately have been really liking the Tillamook brand.

I go through phases where I crave particular flavors. I am going through a peach one right now, trying as many brands of peach as I can find. Sometimes it’s chocolate variations, sometimes it’s something off the wall like limited seasonal flavors, and sometimes it’s basic vanilla. I do like a good quality ice cream, nice and smooth with none of the icy texture of cheap products.
