I am new to disboards and I am planning an at home disney wedding and I am struggling with ideas for favors. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you having a Disney theme wedding? I'm not sure of the vendor but I do know there is a designer who makes wedding favors with a disney theme.

yes its disney themed, to be specific, its like fantasmic with villians vs. good guys/princesses. Our colors are purple and black.

I love that theme..sounds like so much fun. Disneystore just released a bunch of villian themed stuff. May be worth a look even if just for inspiration. My first thoughts lean towards the mini vinylmations if you could find them to match your theme.

When is your wedding? Since ours is close to Christmas, we decided to go with ornaments, and we found these gorgeous glass blown Mickey and Pluto ornaments at Costco on sale for 75% off, so they were only $5!!! Originally $20!!! We did coasters for our engagement party, which I'm a huge fan of, b/c I feel they are useful. Had we not found the ornaments, we were thinking hand towels with Mickey embroidered onto them, but that probably would have coast a little bit more, lol!

You know what you can do is theme the tables and then theme your favors to the table . I think that could be really cute.

Actually, the way I see it, your bridal party should be getting separate gifts anyway. Everyone is getting the ornament for their favor, including the bridal party, and then I am doing gifts to my bridal party on top of that... I've gotten them each a necklace and a bag. You really want to show your appreciation to your bridal party as much as possible... remember they usually pay for their own dresses and also for your shower!

We did a photo booth at our back home party and it was a big hit. The photo strips were the favors and it was a keepsake for us as well.

well the bridal party is getting a completely seperate gift on top of the favor, I have those done already. I got pictures that say family and friend ship off etsy and the guy who puts them together goes around disney taking abstract pictures and turns it into the alphabet, so example is the M in family is from the one peak of cinderella castle. I also framed them too. So that is part one of the gifts..
