I'd have to go with We Were Soldiers.
I don't know why.
Maybe it's because it's fresher in my mind than Platoon or Good Morning Vietnam.
Maybe it's because my father was in Vietnam, and I grew up an Army brat, and the movie focused a good amount on the families back home.
Maybe it's because it made me think about my father, who passed away 13 years ago, and I count myself lucky that my father came back alive but so many other men and women my age can't say that.
Maybe it's because this was one of the few movies that brought tears to my eyes.
Maybe it's all these things.
