Staying 5 nights and would like to know what Restauraunts to try while we are there. What ate your favorites?

If you're looking for something more casual, my favorites (in order): Margaritaville, Latin Quarter, Hard Rock Cafe, Bubba Gump's.

Both Emeril's and Tchoup chop are very good for something a little fancier. The Palm is overrated IMO, and I've never eaten at any of the restaurants at the Portofino.

Well, keep in mind that those restaurants see tens of thousands of people just like yourself every year. It's a bit nicer, but they are also accustomed to children, both places are relatively "loud", and they will make things off-menu if your children do not find anything they like on the regular menu.

BTW, I gave you the places that I've been excepting the Nascar Cafe. I've been there and wasn't impressed. It was not bad by any means, but the other places were much better IMO. I doubt you'll have a bad meal regardless of where you decide. I just haven't tried Bob Marley's, the NBA, or Pat O's (I live in BR, I'm not going to Orlando to eat cajun food).

I LOVE Bubba Gumps.

Our favorite is Bubba Gump. I went with my twin 12 year old nephews and the loved it. It's very casual and kid friendly. I was dissapointed in NASCAR and unless you're interested in seeing the Rock N Roll decor I would skip Hard Rock Cafe.

This matches my opinion exactly, except I have eaten at Mama Della's and Sal's at the Portofino. Sal's has good pizza and we'll eat there again, but we felt that Mama Della's was also overrated. I would like to eat at Bice someday.

We may try it when we make our HHN trip this year, I've read really good reviews of it.
