Good Afternoon everyone

I've noticed a lot of people experience the World Showcase differently than others. I've never had a chance to fully experience everything I wanted to there and i'm excited to explore it on my next trip (33 days from now .. AHHH!! :jumping1: )

One of my favorite things to do is visit Norway. I've never even really been into that country but when I went to the Norway Pavilion I loved it. I love the little church there with all the history inside, the troll inside that one store, Laila: Essence of Norway, and of course.. the Maelstrom!!

So what are your favorite things to do and see at the WS?

:woohoo:

The American Adventure show is amazing and very moving, the norway ride is fun, and the china video is really amazing, it is very beautiful

make sure to walk through every country, even places like morrocco that dont look like they have a lot really have some great things to see

yeah i know! i walked through twice before but didn't stop in every country to enjoy everything like i did in norway because it was almost time for illuminations. i'm so excited to see everything though! :teeth:

My favorite thing to do in World Showcase is eat. I love sampling all of the authentic foods from around the world. But the last time I was there I made the mistake of leaving World Showcase and going directly to Mission: Space. Bad decision.

so much to do and like at the showcase.

Shop and shop again... I love the shops around the showcase...
Food, so much different things to choose from...
The extra show like the drums at Japan, the acrobats at China and France...
Meeting CM's who always have a story about their home country...
Kidcot (if you bring the kids)
Watch Illuminations during dinner from the Rose & Crown...
Listen to the singers at the American Pavilion...

I guess this is way EPCOT is on top of my list...

I really like chatting with cast members about their home countries and impressions of the USA and Florida. Staffing World Showcase with international cast members was brilliant idea.

I love watching British Invasion in England. I had my picture taken with them last week, LOL. :goodvibes

Norway, definitely! I love Maelstrom. And this year, I'm definitely going to buy Laila perfume - I couldn't believe it when I saw that lsat year - that's my name!

I also love just walking around, enjoying the sights, drinking Fiesta Margaritas from Mexico!

Our favorites are the World Showcase Players in the UK (Grail! Grail! Grail!), the pastries in Norway (I lost my DS 12 and DM 79 going on 80 when I went to the restroom; they were trying to decide on what to eat!!), and the Mexican band....these guys are awesome.

Off Kilter in Canada and British Invasion in United Kingdom
I could definately take some time going back n forth btwn the two
and Yes thats what I'll be doing in less than 26days!

The Japanese pavillion fascinates me, and I spend more time there than anywhere else in WS. The garden with the koi pond is amazingly beautiful, and I love picking a pearl (or just watching others do it) in the store. Watching the Candy Lady is very, very cool too. I have spent several hours at a time in this pavillion, usually on our "alone day". My DH and DS's don't share my passion for these things.

Off Kilter is my favorite - head and shoulders above the rest, IMHO. I like all the others, too, but Off Kilter is so much fun.

As for pavillions, I like Mexico best, then Morocco. The flowers in Canada are beautiful.

The movies in France and China.

El Rio del Tiempo gets slammed pretty hard on these boards, but I really like it. I like Maelstrom, too.

I can spend a whole day and night in the World Showcase.

I really enjoy the movie in France. I love the preshow in the American Adventure, the one with the colonial era singers. I also enjoy Maelstrom and the movie on Norway that follows the ride.

finding a pearl at the Japan Pavillion. Kids loved it.

This seems very popular. I never tried that one. Maybe something for a next visit. (any excuse for a future visit)

I love spending time in each country, especially the ones I doubt I'll ever visit outside of WDW! Each trip I try to spend a little extra time in one particular country and really appreciate the details. The last trip we spent a lot of time in Morocco and on the last night of our trip both DH and I got henna tattoos! It was a nice souvenier that lasted several weeks after we returned home! EPCOT is my favorite of all the parks!

We like the wine tasting in Italy. They have one in France, as well. We also just like to wander through the shops, let the kids play by the fountains, and we enjoy the comedy players in either England or Italy.

EPCOT is our favorite park - on a week long trip, we spent at least three solid days touring the World Showcase! Oh, you DID only say WS, but my new favorite thing in EPCOT is Soarin'! We've been in all the restaurants and what I like best is, the food in LeCellier, the entertainment in Marrakesh, and the ambience in San Angel Inn. For shopping I like the orient (both China and Japan). I love all the movies, France, China and Canada, but think I lean toward Canada just a weeee bit more. But, the best of all is staying until closing to watch Illuminations. Oh, to be in WDW right now! sigh.....
