my friend is going to Disney World for the first time this summer and i cant explain to her how amazing it is and that she's gonna have the time of her life there so i'm in need of some help.

whats your favorite thing to do at WDW and why?

mines going to Animal Kingdom and going on kilomanjaro safari because it takes you to a whole new kind of extreme, like youre not even in Flordia anymore.

Of course, the rides at Walt Disney World are extraordinary. One thing I enjoy is just looking through the shops and talking to the workers!!!!!! They are always so nice and welcoming!!!!! Disney gets soooo well into the themes!!! Mission:Space is very overwhelming me!!! It's so realistic and you feel like you are really in space! I hope your friend has a great time, which i know she will!!!!

I've been to WDW nine times and I still do not know what my favorite thing to do is. WDW is just too awesome to choose one favorite thing to do! Possible my favorite thing is Splash Mountain because it always makes me smile when I'm going down the five story drop. It lets me know that I'm not at home being bored, I'm at WDW having the time of my life. :yay:

Ummmmm it's hard to pick just ONE thing about WDW. I'd have to say Magic Kingdom or the fabulous mickey waffles, yum!:mickeybar

I've always enjoyed just walking around Magic Kingdom and looking at the structures that Imagineers have created. Although I do have a soft spot for the dole whip which is right after the bridge going into adventureland, and then going over to splash mountain. It's been something my family has done for a long time and its always just good to beat the heat with a dole whip.:yay:

Hmm, I love walking around World Showcase at night after Illuminations. :]

My favorite thing to do at WDW is going to Animal kingdom and doing Everest, Safari Ride, or Kali River Rapids

I just love being at Disney and not at home, and holy crap I'm listening to a recording of Spectromagic on the Disney radio app I have and I'm getting that happy Disney feeling on the inside.:wizard:

I love to do the amazing rides, of course, but Wishes is something that I HAVE to see when I'm at WDW. It just gives me that tingly feeling just thinking about it. It's also really amazing to watch from the beach at FW or any of the other MK resorts (we've stayed at FW before, so I have actually experienced this beach, but I'm sure the monorail resorts have an even better view :thumbsup2), as they pipe the music in from speakers, so you don't have to deal with the thick crowds in MK, or the occasional awkward spots where it is impossible to see the fireworks without craning your neck directly upwards. It's also nice if you're staying at FW, because when the fireworks are done, you walk back to your site with no traffic, and no wait for the launch back to the resort! :thumbsup2 You could also do this, I assume, from any of the resorts near Epcot for Illuminations.. although I don't know how the view is from them all... But I'm sure it just depends where you stand.. Does anyone else have first-hand experience with this?

I'm making a list...I can't choose just one:
-ending my day at MK watching Wishes - it is so incredibly magical that it chokes me up a little bit
-going on TSM and kicking my family's butt with my high scores, and trying to get on the high score board at the end of the ride
-taking that extra minute to just watch a street performer, look at something tiny on the side instead of rushing from ride to ride
-just watching the young kids that are there - when they see Mickey or come off a ride the look on their faces proves that WDW truly is magical

I've heard you can get a really good view from Y/B Club, and I can personally say you can get decent firework views from the Boardwalk, although the music isn't piped in.
