Favorite SNL sketch

I think my favorite President skit is the one where Bill Clinton is jogging with his secret service guys and goes into McDonald's. "Ya see this fry here? Well, this is Somalia..." ROFL.

I also love Dana Carvey as Ross Perot.

Shvetty Balls is an absolute classic.

DH is a Ladies Man fan.

I love Will Farrel as Janet Reno. :teeth:

Two of my favorite sketches: Eddie Murphy as Gumby and Joe Piscipo as Pokie. Apparently Joe ate something that didn't agree with him and during the sketch he, umm, passed gas. Well, Eddie Murphy couldn't not mention it and that was the end of the sketch. From there on out it was "Gumby" complaining about "Pokey" passing gas and Joe P. cracking up. Finally Eddie Murphy couldn't stop himself from laughing so they ended the skit. It was a riot. :teeth:

My other favorite was during the last presidential election, when the election was very controversial and still up in the air. "Al Gore" and "George W" were in the Oval Office, signing a parody of "I Got You, Babe". :teeth:

Choppin Broccolli is my fav sketch ever. I have that song downloaded on my computer!

I loved the celebrity Jeopardy skits, especially when they did Sean Connery.

Adam Sandler was on the SNL news a couple times during Halloween time. He was showing us how we could use inexpensive items to make Halloween cosutumes. That was one of my favorite skits ever. He was so funny.

"Look at me! I'm crazy Pickle Mustache Guy! That's CRAZY! Now gimme some candy!"

YES!! Thank you! Most people look at me like I'm nuts when I bring that up! I expecially liked "Crazy Guy Under The DesK"

"Just because you can't see me, don't mean I don't want candy.", "Leave the candy on the desk!".

I just love those!

"My favorrte recent SNL would have to be the Jeopardy Game with Will Farrell. . ."

"That's what your mother said about me last night, Trebeck. . .hahahaha"

;)

Oh, another couple I remembered-

Will Farrell playing Bob Livingston and Chris Parenel playing Newt Gingrich drinking in a bar after they had resigned drinking and saying "what happened??" and then Hammond coming out of a back room as Clinton and saying; "Hi boys! Am I impeached yet? LOL!"

And the Wayne's World episode where Wayne dreams he on "Melrose Place". .

Both classics! :teeth:

Mr. Bill, Church Lady, Roxbury guys and Ed Grimley.

My current favorite is Weekend Update.

I always LOVED the weekend update when Norm McDonald was the newscaster...something about the monotone voice he had made it so hilarious for me!! I was very upset when he was "asked" to leave the show.

There are so many! DH and I got married on the day SNL first aired.............yes we watched that night;)
Dan and Jane ...weekend update
Eddie Murphy's Mr Robinson's neighborhood and Gumby
Hans and Frans
Wild and crazy guys
anything Gilda Radner was in
Dan Akroyd's commercials ....... Bassomatic!!!
Land Sharks.........Candy gram!
Coneheads
Mike Myers skits, but most of all Wayne's world, Deiter, and Phillip, the hyperactive and hypoglycemic boy ( remember him in the skit with Nicole Kidman on the playground..."you're the Devil!" and him running down the street pulling the jungle gym behind him)
Chris Farley's Matt Foley, motivational speaker
Al Franken's Stuart Smalley ....."people LIKE me"
Ana Gasteyer's Martha Stewart impresssions and also her Delicious Dish spots
Victoria Jackson and the Toonces skits
Jon Lovitz and his Master Thespian!
Mango!!
ALL the Jeopardy skits

My ALL time favorite skit is the one with Sean William Scott. They were in an office and all the workers had to wear something patriotic. Well, Will Farrell comes in with a short tight tank top and an American flag underwear. Towards the end, his fabric from his bottoms comes undone and you can just see the other people in the skit trying not to laugh. It was soooo funny!!

I also Love the Schweties Ball's with the two raidio announcers. That show is the best!!! So many really funny skits!!

Chris Farley's Matt Foley, motivational speaker

You could live in a VAN! down by the RIVER!

LOL

I love that Monkey Boy that Chris Kattan does too - where he's all dirty, and he sits on the table and swings from the chandelier and humps everything in sight LOL

I remember that skit, funkyrooster - it was hilarious!

There's just so much LOL.

"This just in: Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead!"

My all time favorite is a skit with Nicholas Cage. He and his pregnant wife are debating baby names and every name she mentions is criticized by him for the way that the child will be ridiculed at school. In the end a delivery man comes with a package him and you learn that his name is pronounced" As weepa" but always mispronounced as A**wipe. It is right up there with Schwetti balls.

Did we neglect to mention Mike Myers's Linda Richman? I get "verklempft" just thinking about it. Speak amongst yourselves, I'll give you a topic...

Oy vey!

And Eddie Murphy's skit about Mr. Rogers Neighborhood only it was in the ghetto:

Kiddies, can you spell Landlord? Yes, that's the landlord at the door because I haven't paid my rent. Today we're going to learn how to leave by the backdoor.

LOL

The continental! I *LOVE* when Christopher Walken hosts! :D :D

I'm an SNL-aholic! Some of my faves:

Old woman: "How do you know so much about 'Oops, I Crapped My Pants?'"
Old man: "Because I'm wearing them ... and I just did."

"Adobe--the little car that's made out of clay!"

Home Headache Test Kit

Crystal Gravy

Three-legged Jeans

Eddie Murphy as James Brown: "In the hot tub--hey!"

Eddie Murphy as Buckwheat: "Unce, tice, fee times a mady!"

Most recently, there was a skit with Jessica Simpson as host that had tears rolling down both my hubby and my faces. They were making fun of her "Chicken of the Sea" gaffe on Newlyweds. They had her completely baffled by "Tuna of the Dirt" brand chicken (featuring a scuba-diving chicken on the label), "Turkey of the Jungle" brand bananas, and "Pork of the Orchard" brand apples. The look on her face was priceless: bewilderment, confusion, then frustration. "Please stop, my head hurts!" :jester:

"Schwette Balls"...a classic. How Alec Baldwin kept a staright face I willl NEVER know. I literally fell off the couch laughing.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

David Spade and Spade in America

the Bue Bye sketck

Cheerleaders

Rob Schinder as Rich the copy guy,"Makin copies"
