I think my answer is confusing but maybe it will help anyone concerned about the dream.
We have cruised on the wonder, Magic and Dream and on face value I would say the Wonder. My kids loved the club design, Parrot Cay is still one of our favorite dining rooms. We prefer the mickey slide over the aqua duck and really prefer the goofy pool separated from the mickey pool and love watching movies while swimming (less noise).
But.... Our one cruise on the Dream included my 6yo dd whom has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair and my dad whom had also had an accident shortly before the trip and was wheelchair confined.
Pros: The cms were nothing short of amazing. They managed our multitude of issues with grace and ease. My dd pulled a cast members hair and she continued to interact well with her the rest of the week. During supper one night we had a bathroom issue and I raced my dd from the dining room in my arms instaed of the wheelchair. The bathroom attendant helped us find an open hca bathroom even though the next open one was down the hall and got everything I needed. I returned to supper to find my half eaten meal replaced with a hot fresh meal. Even the characters dealt well with all our assorted needs, my husband actually cried over Tinker Bells interaction with our non verbal child. My dd cried when we left the ship. It was that awesome.
The dining rooms are beautiful and cabanas is a huge improvement over topsiders
Cons: The kids club was total mass chaos. It worked fine for my wild child boy but my older girls would have lost their minds in such a loud crazy setting. Very few structured events and lots of technology/video games.
In general just too many people. The pool area was just crazy.
Regardless of what ship you will have a great time.
