Favorite server on the Magic???

It sounds like Tessa - we loved her, and my DH's Uncle was smitten with her. Is this her? Tessa was our assistant server, and I think we were her last or second to last cruise before her vacation and promotion. I just read here that Adrian (pictured here with Tessa) is now at Palo. My son will miss him but I'll be so happy to see him at Palo in February!!

Adrian was the head server for our cruise in September. He's at Palo now?

There are two servers that I've had on the Magic that I would highly recommend to others. Phillip from Croatia (we had him 4-5 years ago). Not only was he a great server but he kept us well entertained. I've heard he may be a head server now. The other great server we had on the Magic was Stipe from Croatia on the 10-Day Christmas cruise. I really missed him on the westbound repo cruise but have heard he's back. He was an excellent server and worked very hard to make sure all the meals were great.

We LOVED Stipe....we had him on the 10-day as well. Were you early or late seating? We were late. We also requested (and got) Stipe for the Eastbound cruise. He was as good as on the 10 day (except he hurt his back on the first night and had to leave dinner early). We got to keep all the menus (on both cruises). He's FANTASTIC. We kept threatening him that we were going to put in a request with DCL to put him on the 11 day for next year so we could have him then, but he did NOT want that.

I have been fortunate to have Leeroy on two cruises. He gets my vote. Also Marco and his brother (name slips my mind) are engaging and very gracious servers.

We had Marjan from Macedonia and Jan from Czech Republic and they were awesome! I think all the little girls were in love with Marjan, and he made a great pirate! We also had Cecelia in Palo who was wonderful. I'll miss them since we're trying the Magic next time (I'm sure the Magic is full of great CM's too!)

Another vote for Adrian from England!!! He's the best and very good at what he does! I believe he has been promoted to Head Server - Which he absolutely deserves to have (but will be missed as a server!)

He was our head server and I agree, he is fabulous.

We also love Sachin from India from our 2003 cruise. He had just gotten onboard the Magic for the Eastbound cruise - so he is probably still on board.

Yep, he's still there. We had him on the 11/5 cruise, and he was awesome! Our dining team of him, Aleksandra, and Anastasia was one of the best we've had. We're used to three night cruises, with one night in Palo...it was so nice to sail for a week and get to know our server team.

I had Emanuel from the Phillipines in Palo...EXCELLANT!!!

Another vote for Emmanual! On our second Magic cruise this January, we were thrilled to see him in Palo. He was not our server but he stopped and chatted with us, and then we tracked him down in the main dining room and had a picture taken with him.

The staff call him "Big Papa." DH and I are thinking of trying to request him for our cruise in 61 days. Does anyone know if he is on board now?

We had Alex from the Phillipines,and Daniel from South Africa this past week on our Thanksgiving cruise,and they were both great.We hope to have them again sometime in the near future!

Well..I was on the Oct 29th and he was there...I would guess he will still be there in January unless he get vacation

We had Dobi (Dobrinka) from Bulgaria and LOVED her! her asst was Ricardo from South Africa and he's a gem too but felt like he was maybe new? he forgot drinks a couple times among the four families at our table (one persone out of like 12) but then other times he would be bringing coffee before we asked knowing we'd want it, etc. he was very attentive but seemed to be covering maybe too large an area??

Alex or Alexsandra from the Netherlands was our head server and she was OUTSTANDING..I have never had a head server be so engaging...even on deck and at CC

Louis our server..eh..he was ok...better if he stopped chirping but his asst. Michelle was very sweet.

{chirp, chirp} "You can go for that" ... Sorry, it became a joke as Louis proudly recommended everything on the menu. Hey, at least it's good he was proud to announce the food.

Hi, there! I just saw your sig line and I got excited that we would be on the same boat again, but then I realized we have 10 months and 3 weeks and you have 11 months and 3 weeks.

I don't know though, if they announce to Med cruise for 2007, we may have to change our date!

We had LeeRoy from Jamaica and his assistant server was Gabor from Hungary. They were an excellent team That was when we were on the Disney Magic on the New Years Cruise. LeeRoy did a fabulous trick with a wine bottle. I'm glad to see LeeRoy's name mentioned, so I think he must still be on the ship as we are sailing The Magic again on Christmas.

Does anyone know if Gabor is still on the ship? He wasn't hard on the eyes either!

We had Leeroy in May of last year. I too thought he was great. If you go around Christmas can you see what his last name is. I requested him again in November of 06. His assistant server was Lisa. Does anyone know if she is still on the ship.

Server - Pairoj from Thailand and asst Jonathan (forgot his country).

In addition to excellent service every night and the character breakfast, Pairoj delivered dinner to our cabin for my wife the night she missed dinner due to having a massage.

Oh yeah, one problem with Pairoj. He will talk you into getting 2 desserts if you have any trouble making up your mind!

Head Server was Atilla, Main server was Depeshe - both were very good. Our 'drink' server was horrible! I just left the cruise this past Saturday and am happy that I forgot her name! It was her second week working - and I am still waiting for hot tea that I ordered last Tuesday at dinner! On our last breakfast, she managed to spill cranberry juice on my yellow shirt
Garry was our host and he simply was great!
