Favorite Ride/Attraction and Why?

It's a tie between Splash Mountain and Mad Hatter Tea Cups.
Splash Mountain for the fun happy music, the suspenseful lead up to the drop, and the splash on a hot day.
Mad Hatter Tea Cups because I love picking a color and running to it. I am a spinner and I love seeing my DH's eyes go to the back of his head, lol, no DH you will never get me to slow it down! And it's a good childhood memory.

Fav Ride that no longer exists- Snow White
Fav Ride still in existence- Haunted Mansion- the technology on this ride seemed ahead of its time and still impresses me as an adult.

My favorite thing is probably Festival of the Lion King. I love the variety of performers in the show. Favorite ride might be Haunted Mansion. But it's hard to pick and depends on my mood. Favorite roller coaster is Expedition Everest.

I love Space Mountain. I love the start as the lights flash as youre about to "take off". Then, the sense of speed you get from being in the dark. Plus, as one of the oldest rides it reminds me of Disney's roots.

Can't pick just 1... sorry :)
So-
Classic= PoC Fell in love with the theming waaaay back in '79 in Disneyland. Totally immersive. Old school animatronics, Walt's planning of the original attraction. All adds up to a nostalgic experience.
New= Soarin' - I love the feeling that you are gliding over all these differing vistas. I'm a fraidy-cat and would never hang-glide or Para-sail or anything close, so Soarin' provides me a similar experience w/o the fear factor.

My favorites are Splash Mountain, Expedition Everest, and the Tea Cups...I also like It's a Small World for the nostalgia, but when we got off of it the last time we were there my DD (6 at the time) informed me that it was freaky and going to give her nightmares... so I guess we'll be skipping that one next time lol.

I haven't been to Epcot yet so I can't judge the rides there but I would have to say Tower of Terror is tough to beat. I don't think I've ever ridden a ride and had my heart pumping as much afterwords XD I just loved the mysterious feel to it when first starting out and then the ride itself is just crazy. Honestly it's the main and almost only reason we are making sure to hit Hollywood Studios on our visit :P Runner up would have to be either Big Thunder or Haunted Mansion....I can't pick

My favorite at WDW is, hands down, Expedition Everest. I love everything about it from the amazingly themed queue to the steep incline, to the broken railroad track and going backwards in the dark, to the big drop outside. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

My favorite at the CA parks is Radiator Springs Racers. Such an imaginative and fun ride. You never know if your car is going to win the race!

Soarin' - I love the feeling that you are gliding over all these differing vistas. I'm a fraidy-cat and would never hang-glide or Para-sail or anything close, so Soarin' provides me a similar experience w/o the fear factor.
Same here! And it always, always amazes me to see--just as I'm thinking "No way would anyone get up here!"--those hikers walking along the spine of those craggy red rocks. And I love the sensation of pressing down into the seat as we swoop past the kayakers.

But, given time, 7DMT could become another personal favorite. It's such a smooth ride, and the cars rock so gently at certain places, and the mines are just beautiful, and the dance is my favorite scene from the movie. I love the witch at the door--I think if we have to live without the Snow White ride, this one is a fine replacement. It really brings the movie to life, with a kick!

Waay tooo many to chose from....But 1 epitomizes all of what WDW is all about....

That's Splash Mountain......Besides being a 10 min. ride ( which in itself is awesome ) it has the best of everything.
Thrills, slow moving scenery, story line, plus the cooling off factor, *in the hotter months.

When we visited our only time in Cali. this ride was closed along with a few other headliners, and we were a lil upset...We wanted to see the similarities & differences.

Also what other ride can you go on, where you'll be singing it all the way up to your next trip...LoL :rolleyes1 " How do you do? " :rolleyes1 I can hear you all whistling or signing as you read this . LoL.

POC is a 2nd place finish for me, which I thoroughly enjoy, but even way better in DLR.

I'll go a little against grain and say TSM. My whole family gets into the competition. At DLR, it would be RSR.
If you ask DD6, it would be Speedway. If you ask DD4, it would be 7DMT.

Splash Mountain for the splash, as well as the music and story. On out last visit we timed it with the fireworks and that was the best! We pulled back in just as there finale was happening and everyone cheered. I love people mover at the very end of the night, when it is empty and dh and I have it all to ourselves. While COP is a bit boring, but I love the music.

Soarin' because its so relaxing! Toy Story Mania because it's so fun! Favorite show is Mickey's Philharmagic because its all around awesome!

Haunted Mansion for sure! I love spooky things and especially stories that involve old houses. So it's right up my alley.

I love splash and all the thrill rides but my two favorites are COP and People Mover. I can't explain why I love COP, I just do. As for people mover, I love crowd watching from the People Mover and getting a break from all the people down below. Plus it is fun to travel through some of the attractions. It is also one of the few rides my mom will ride.

Tower of Terror, was my favorite as a child & still remains in top spot to this day. I love flying up out of your seat on the drops & the view (especially at night) of HS when they open the window at the top. Love everything about it!!!
