Favorite Resort?

I’ve stayed at all except SSR. My favorite is the one I’m going to stay at next. I really enjoy looking forward to the trip and checking dining menus and what’s new etc since last trip.

As I have aged my preferences have too, so my fav now is different than 20 years ago that kind of thing.

Also,it’s like asking which of your kids is your favorite? Last trip was GF, next week it’s Poly my favorite “kids”

I love being in the monorail and do enjoy a BW area/mono split but me and DD love to mix it up and did 3 mods this fall. FQ, CBR and CSR. I honestly can’t tell ya which resort will be next cause it’s fun looking and finding dates and promo that work for me.

Beach Club is amazing. It doesn't feel super crowded. We really like Ale and Compass. Proximity to World Showcase and the Skyliner make for great adult trips. Bonus proximity for Fantasia Mini Golf and all the other Boardwalk area restaurants.

Fort Wilderness is wonderful when kids are younger. It's so relaxing and uncrowded. The golf carts, cabins, and campfire sing-along are just magical for the under 10 crowd.

We really enjoy SSR as the kids are getting older even if it is a little spread out. Refurbished rooms are great. We enjoy having multiple different pools and eating establishments. Love being able to easily watch the drone show at night and access to Disney Springs.

Caribbean Beach is great for a short trip with no car when the whole family of 5 isn't traveling. Nice pools, walkable access to Riviera amenities, and Skyliner for easy access to all the Epcot/Boardwalk amenities. We enjoyed Sebastian's Bistro, too.

Places we're unlikely to return to: AoA, CSR, POR. And despite loving it when the kids were younger, I'm not returning to FW Cabins with teenagers--not enough space.

With no monetary restrictions: Yacht Club due to pool/location/dining
With budgetary thoughts: Villas at Grand Floridian. We use the full kitchen to help control food expenditures:

Poly because I just love the atmosphere there and the monorail is great. Second choice would be Wilderness Lodge, again the atmosphere is just so pleasant and relaxing.

My favorite is OKW I have had priceless memories there as a family. I like the peaceful and vacation home vibe.

I have been saying that Boardwalk Inn is my favourite since I first stayed a few years ago. The location is perfect and it has the edge on YC / BC for me because I found the hotel itself a little quieter.

Then this year I stayed at the Polynesian for a couple of nights, I thought it was the nicest Disney room I have ever stayed in and I like the restaurants and bars there. It could be my new favourite.

I love both Port Orleans resorts based on theming (I love New Orleans) and how laid back they are. They are probably my overall favorite, but the only deluxe I've stayed in so far was Poly, which I also love as theming wise it's probably my second favorite.

Not stayed at them all, but working our way around the 'world'. If someone else was paying I'd like to try the Poly, but only after all the construction is completed.

I’d go with the Four Seasons Bora Bora—staying in one of those overwater bungalows has always been a dream of mine. Waking up to that turquoise water and having your own private deck to just chill or jump right in sounds perfect. I love the idea of being somewhere that feels super secluded but still has all the luxury touches. It's one of those places I’ve always imagined as the ultimate escape.

Money not a concern, it'd be the Yellowstone Suite at WL. Or a Grand Villa or Cabin at CCV. The Yellowstone Suite is Club Level, so that would be nice.

I second this! Amazing staff & experience, and the resort is so conveniently located too. Our top choice for a resort stay.

For a parks stay, it's a tough call, but I'd go with Beach Club! Can't beat the walk to epcot and boat to HS, beautiful rooms, great pool for the kids.

I love seeing all the differing opinions, that's what Disney offers such variety!
