Include me in the 1% of the not a big fan of SAB...
When we did go, my kids were 10...So, young but not too young. Might I add that they are both above avg. swimmers as well....I wasn't a huge fan of the way things were separated too into different sections. If a parent wants to just chill for a bit in a lounge chair, it's virtually impossible..Because the sight lines are obscured. Also the lazy river, is nothing lazy about it...It moves rather swiftly, and also don't like the fact that it's an 8 ft depth too in this area. Finally I'm not so sure who designed this part...When you want to go onto the slide, you have to first go outside the gated area, 2) go across the main/common path to get to the stairs leading up, & 3) come back down through the tube/slide which re enters into the pool. Very hard to keep your eyes on your kids but Who am I to say?
Enough about that, let's get to the real topic:
Favorite Mod: CSR. This pool setup is neat, the slide is better than most deluxes, and the opening ceremonies in the a.m. are cool for the kids too..
Overall I'd have to say BWV/Luna Park Pool, And SSR High Rock Springs Pool close 2nd.
This is why we are not going with the Beach Club this summer even though I was sure this was the resort/pool for us. DS is too young not to keep a constant eye on him and if it wasn't for ppl on these boards I would have never realized that the slight lines are obscured at SAB. Thank you!
