Hi Heidi!
This is an interesting question, because I rarely lunch at the resorts. However, I do have some favorites, and one is Pop Century. That food court has everything. I mean, everything. Quite a variety, you're sure to find something for everyone, and if I could squeeze it in on this trip, I would go there just to eat.
I have also booked the Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch on my trip because I read a trip report where the sandwiches looked absolutely amazing. It just looked like a really good lunch.
So there's one counter service and one table service for you. Other than that, some of my favorite places to eat at the resorts are either 1. buffets, which you prefer not to do, or 2. signature dining, and I'm not sure how you'd feel about those?
I'm trying to think of other places, but anything else I could recommend would be more based on what I've heard, not what I've experienced. HTH!
