Favorite Resort for Thanksgiving Stay

Family of 5 planning our 2018 Thanksgiving trip and trying to determine if we try a new resort or stick with a familiar favorite. We have stayed during Thanksgiving previously at VWL, VGF and Polynesian Villas. Our 3 DS have enjoyed all 3. The oldest DS really wants to try BC but I just think the studio villas are too small there and would have to get a one bedroom or a regular room. What have been your favorite resorts for that time of year? Thanks in advance.

Personally, I like the Epcot resorts for the holidays. There will be a lot to do at Epcot over thanksgiving if they start the holiday festivities early like they are doing this year. I grew up always going to the BC and loved it as a kid.

WL is my fav that time of year, but BC and YC club look amazing that time of year too. Honestly all the resorts look great with the Christmas decorations- have fun

I agree you can't go wrong at that time of year. Our kids have been amazed to watch the christmas decor come alive during our Thanksgiving stays. Each resort has its own amazing benefits....just so hard to decide!

This will be our third Thanksgiving stay, and we have always stayed at an Epcot resort during that time.

We love being able to visit the other resorts in the area and their Christmas decorations and we also go to EP the Friday after thanksgiving for the storytellers.

For some reason, we have liked the Poly for the summer vibe, but BC/BWI for the holidays.

Starting this year the storytellers start before thanksgiving. It will be interesting to see if that is the same next year. Note candlelight still starts after thanksgiving.

I am thinking this is why we are leaning towards Epcot area. We have done the others and it would be a different vibe for us for sure but I know the kids would love it.
