Favorite Resort dining (non-signature)

DH & I really like Boma at AKL and Boatwrights at POR.

We like 50's Prime Time (DHS), Ohana (Poly), Boatwrights (POR) and The Rainforest Cafe.

Flying Fish is a signature. Bluezoo, Il Mulino and Rainforest Cafe do not accept the dining plan (assuming the OP is on the dining plan because of the request for non-signature dining)

Loved Kona (dinner) the first time, very disappointed this year.

Definitely 'Ohana and Chef Mickey's.

DH and I just tried The Wave in November and loved it- I'm plotting ways to go back in February!
We also liked Ohana for dinner, Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner and Chef Mickey's breakfast
Kona has been good but it is not a "must do"

What are your favorite restaurants inside the Disney Resorts that are non-signature?

We just spent 12/19-12/28 at wdw. Our favorites were Kona, Cape May, and Grand Floridian Cafe. We were disappointed in Boma this time.

I really like Sanaa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, the GF Cafe at the Grand Floridian, the Wave at the Contemporary, and Kona at the Polynesian.

My DH and I LOVED the Biergarten in the Germany Pavilion!!! It looks like a German Village inside the restaurant with live entertainment. The tables are family style and they sit you with others families that are similar to yours. We have boys and they sat us with a family from Minnesota with 2 boys around the same age. Also, if you like German beers, they have some really good ones! I also really really enjoyed the food. Of all the restaurants we ate at on our last trip, which was 6 table service meals, the Biergarten was our favorite! Happy eatings!

Can those of you who really liked Cape May give some details on what exactly you enjoyed about this dinner? Food or atmosphere, etc...anything. We are thinking about adding this to our trip in April.
