Favorite Resort and Why

What is your favorite resort in all of Disney World ?

We love the Wilderness Lodge! We have stayed there 3 times and now have bought into the DVC at the WL. We love it all , the pool the lodge, the decor, the food and especially how it looks at Christmas. I could go on and on, anyway thats our vote!!!!!!!!!

I voted other. BWV's get my vote. All the activity on the BW and being able to walk to MGM and epcot.

Hi,

I voted for the AKL. Prior to staying at the AKL in May & Sept of 2001 I would have said the YC. But my husband and I have fallen in love with the AKL. As my husband puts it the entire "feel" of the place just cannot be beat.

I voted fro the Yacht & Beach Club!

the YC is my favorite resort for many reasons! the cm's are fantastic, the theming is so beautiful, elegant yet relaxing and inviting! the location!!!!!!!! storm a long bay, th emost amazing and fun pool in the world! (and normally I could care less about the pool, but SAB is unreal!!!!! )
also convenience, love being able to walk to epcot, mgm, and the BW at your fingertips! I also love the views from the lv rooms!
and not to mention that they have excellent concierge service!!

The YC gets our vote!!!! For all the reasons mentioned above and more. The atmosphere at the YC is something that just has to be experienced. The lobby is gorgeous, as are the grounds, SAB, and the attitude of the CM's is terrific. The theming is just done wonderfully!

You really can't beat the location: close to MGM, and a stones throw away from Epcot and the Boardwalk. Since we've stayed at the YC, we haven't wanted to go anywhere else.

Just got back from our first stay at the Poly and this is now my favorite. Up until now AKL was my favorite. But you can't beat the having the monorail and the boats so close. Plus the resturants are pretty good too, not quiet as good as Boma's but a close second.

Boardwalk!!! It has everything- -great location, great rooms, great service, great pools, great theming, great entertainment, great restaurants... the list goes one!

Dang-balang,i love them all-the ones listed are my favs-with the exception of ak ,only because i have never stayed there before or seen it -but i am just so anxious to.The monorail resorts are an absolute for me,when i arrive early i stay at either cornado springs or dixie landings.We love those two!I love b&y when i go to Epcot,love the pool and love walking over the bridge into ,i think its england,romantice,so for me its hard ,what a tough life!!!!

I love the Polynesian for many reasons We have 3 young kids so you can't beat having the monorail. I love the tropical feel. I love the smell The pool is awesome. It's great to watch the fireworks on the beach. The restaurants are great. I love the music that is played on the grounds. I love the hammocks. I also enjoy hearing Aloha from all of the cm's

Oh, this is a tough one! Before I would have said the Grand Floridian without a doubt, but right now I'm leaning towards the Contemporary.

I voted for the Contemporary. I like the size of the rooms and watching the monorail go through the building. I love being able to walk to the Magic Kingdom, we like to end each day at the Magic Kingdom, so it is the perfect resort for us. When I was a little girl and dreamed of going to WDW I always wanted to stay at the Contemporary. At age 35 my dream came true and I have stayed there 3 other times since then.

I'm going with Polynesian! Before our trip this past Dec., I really had no desire to go there--I though it was dated and it never appealed to me when we'd pass through on previous trips. Well, I'm a convert! There is a great atmosphere at this place that can't be beat. You definately feel the fantastic tropical aura!!!!!!!

I would have to say the Poly because of its great themeing and great transportation options. It's also very relaxing which is nice after a tiring day in the parks. But, I love all of the resorts for different reasons and always have a hard time deciding. I guess it depends on my mood at the time! inkbounc inkbounc

I love Wilderness Lodge! The lobby is amazing. I like the pool and the hot tubs. The geyser is so cool!

I like sitting by the fireplace and relaxing. The food court is pretty good.

I like the bunkbeds in the rooms.
