We tend to eat most meals at TS but our DSIL is a must have 3 meals a day guy, so we may be frequenting the QS places at parks for meals in a few days. This is his 1st trip, so would love to make a good impression.

So my 2 part question is, what are your favorite(s) QS places in the parks and what is your favorite(s) things to order?

Columbia Harbor House is always a go to at Magic Kingdom. Some good options there. I was also really impressed with Pecos Bills at MK.

If you like Fish and Chips, Yorkshire in Epcot is really good. Sunshine Seasons in Epcot also has some really good food that is different from what you will see in most places.

I will say my favorite QS is not in the parks, but it's close enough. I LOVE the Boardwalk Bakery (you can walk there from Epcot). The cinnamon rolls are ridiculous, and all of their sandwiches are always great.

At MK I like Pecos Bills, I order the nachos and then add things from the toppings bar. Before they switched menus there really wasn't a QS I liked at MK.
At AK I like Yak and Yeti, I get the chicken fried rice, which is actually considered a snack if you are on the dining plan (which I never do). It's huge, the have a nice little sitting area over to the side. I haven't tried the new places they have opened but they all look pretty good.
At HS we tend to either eat at backstage catering or whatever it is called, I just get a sandwich. We rarely eat QS at HS, we love Brown Derby and tend to eat there instead.
At Epcot, we love all the QS at WS except for Germany and Italy and we don't eat at those because they tend to have just too heavy food for us. Our favorite is Tangerine Cafe in Morocco and we enjoy getting a combo platter. Second would probably be fish and chips at GB, then Mexico, then Japan then China. We never eat outside of WS in Epcot.

We often resort hop at some point in the middle of our trip just to check out other resorts so we will check out the QS locations at the resort if we do that.

MK: Columbia Harbour House (shrimp platter)
AK: Flame Tree (ribs)
EP: Tangierine Café (shwarma platter)
DHS: take the boat to EP, go to Tangierine Café, order the shwarma platter :D

At Epcot, Lotus Blossom Café. Very friendly servers, good food and good portions and he can walk around the World with the food.

At the Studios - Fairfax Fare although he'll have to find a place to sit down with the tray.

At Animal Kingdom - Flame Tree BBQ and there are plenty of tables for all of you to sit and take a break.

MK: BOG- Braised Pork Friar's Nook-Pot Roast Mac n Cheese
AK: Harambe Market-Everything Y&Y Honey Chicken Flame Tree- Ribs
EP: Sunshine Seasons- Salmon and Pork Chop
DHS: Catalina Eddies- Hot Italian Sandwich Min & Bill's-Pulled pork sliders and pork Mac n Cheese

MK: BOG - Braised Pork, Columbia Harbor House - Shrimp platter, Pecos Bill - Taco Salad or the burrito
AK: Flame Tree BBQ - Anything from the smoker
Epcot: Tangerine Cafe - Shwarma Platter, Yorkshire - Fish and chips

At MK - BOG for lunch is a must -- food is good and the restaurant is amazing to see.

Thanks for all the great ideas folks!

MK Columbia Harbour House - Tuna Sandwich, Clam chowder
AK Flame Tree Barbeque - Ribs, Onion Rings
DHS Starring Rolls Turkey Sandwich
Epcot - multiple stops in WS. I would never waste a meal eating in Future World or Liberty Inn. In particular, we like Fish & Chips in UK, Tacos at La Cantina in Mexico, Brat at Sommerfest in Germany, Anything at Katsura Grille in Japan, Wrap at Tangerine Cafe in Morocco, and a Croissant at the Bakery in France.

And just to note - check out the kiosks and things like that for a snack for him. Getting a Mickey pretzel might tide him over and it's usually quick and easy to do. Also, the popcorn at Disney World is the only popcorn outside of a movie theatre my husband will eat and he can get the bucket and have it for the rest of the trip.

MK:
-Pecos Bill: I usually get the burrito, then add ALL THE TOPPINGS
-Harbour House: salmon! It's amazing that a qs place has such great steamed salmon, seriously blows me away! It's cooked to perfection and comes with broccoli and cous cous(?)
-Corn Dog nugs from Casey's are also a fan favorite

DHS:
-Starring Rolls: sandwiches or treats! Delicious cupcakes!
-Muppets Pizza Place: pizza. Duh. I for some reason always found that the pizza here was FAR better than the pizza you can get down near ToT, I've never had it cooked all the way through when I got it down there, but here it's always great!
-DHS is seriously lacking in the qs department...

EPCOT:
-Sunshine Seasons: great breakfasts!!
-Croissoint Bread Pudding!! Super yummy Also have great fruit & cheese plates
-UK: Fish & chips
-France: baguette sandwiches, great salads too
-Morocco: vegetarian platter!
-Japan: practically anything, all super delicious

AK
-Harambe Marketplace: the water melon juice is delicious!! Around near Safari's they have a stand that sells great watermelon, and fruit & cheese plates
-Flame Tree BBQ: sandwiches are usually my go to, but they've got great chicken combos here
-Yak & Yeti: pretty much anything here is good!

At DTD, we usually hit up Earl of Sandwich, where I get the Holiday sandwich for obvious reasons
-AoA, AKL have my favorite resort QS places!

And just to note - check out the kiosks and things like that for a snack for him. Getting a Mickey pretzel might tide him over and it's usually quick and easy to do.

Good point....France has some very filling sandwiches as snack credit and are about $6 each
