and why ?

September - Warm days, cook nights, plus September is really the start of the new year, not January, its the start of school, tv programs, Church or gym activities, Football and basketball right around the corner

July. It's the only month of the year DW doesn't work at all, plus the kids have minimal extracurricular activities. Most years, this is our vacation month. There's a paid holiday in July which isn't true of all months. It's warm, and both DD & I have birthdays.

I second May for exactly the same reasons. I love all the newness and all the Spring flowers

December.....Christmas and cool temperatures ( AZ so it is not cold). Love all the decorations and activities going on.

Another September. Its my birthday month, but I also like the weather, change of season and the food!

June......blue skies and warm temps but usually not too hot yet.

I have 3 favorite months.

May - it's SPRING and everything is coming back to life. The grass is greening up, lilacs are blooming, the perennials in my garden are all coming up. Hummingbirds are back. Beautiful month!
September - autumn is my favorite season. Love the leaves changing colors, the crispness in the air and lack of summer humidity, the smells of fall, harvesting on the farm, being able to wear jeans and sweatshirts again, evening bonfires, being able to go for long walks without sweating to death.
December - Christmas! Love putting up the tree and decorating the house, and spending time with family.
