Hi all,

I am planning a solo trip for November. I think I want to have lunch at a monorail resort on my MK day instead of eating at the parks. TS or QS is okay, I don't have a preference.

What is your favorite place? What do you order?

Thanks!

That's open: Cali Grill and the Wave at Contemporary.

Not open but #1 in my heart: Ohana, followed by Narcoossee's.

We only do sit downs for dinners typically so for lunch I would do qs at the poly and get the Thai coconut meatballs. It’s one of the more unique qs meals you can get on property and it’s delicious.

Trader Sam’s, though that’s mostly booze (no apologies). V&A’s always. Narcoossee’s, although it’s too pricey for what you get, but I do love it. And I loved what Ohana was before it became a loud, kid-filled nightmare (RIP Papeete Bay Verandah).

Instead of lunch, I'd get a late breakfast at The Wave. With the buffet closed, I'd order the sweet potato pancakes.

If it were open (which it isn't), a late breakfast at 1900 Park Fare is another of my favorites.

How about taking the boat to Wilderness Lodge and going to Geyser Point Grill? Open air seating, overlooking Bay Lake, with a great bison burger...what could be better? 😋
