Favorite "Little" Disney Things

1. The monorail
2. The grand concourse mural in the Contemporary
3. Having a drink in the Polynesian's lobby near the waterfall
4. Warm pool water
5. The topiaries
6. The backround music at the Wilderness Lodge
7. The UK in EPCOT
8. The huge troll in Norway (EPCOT)
9. Seeing the look on my DD6's face when she sees Mickey.
10. Knowing that I am creating memories and creating Disney traditions that will span generations.

1. Boat ride from FW to MK first day of trip
2. Dapper Dans
3. Liberty Singers
4. Wishes
5. Art Store and Christmas store at DTD
6. Lifetime Movie channel---we love those cheesy movies and never had it at home. Our cable station added it 2 days ago and everytime I flip past it I think of the "world"

1 Dole Whip
2. Getting Cotton Candy the very last thing leaving MGM at night
3. driving through the gate and seeing the WDW signs
4. Dapper Dans
5. being on a dark ride and seeing the "invisible stamp" on the back of your hand under the black light--a thing of the past
6. Walking down main street through the stores especially the sweet shop
7. Trying to stare down Cast members at HM and TOT
8. Looking for hidden Mickeys
9. Hearing "Now is the time, now is the best time!" on the background music in Tomorrowland
10. Walking back to your bus stop and having the bus just be pulling up!

Other than the obvious "big" things, these are my top ten (in no particular order) little things, that I cannot do without:

1. Zebra Domes at Boma
2. Tomorrowland Transit Authority
3. Animal Kingdom Acrobats
4. Magnetron (shop at West Side PI)
5. Safety Announcement in several languages on the Monorail
6. Giant torches lit at night around World Showcase
7. Inside Mexico at the beginning of ride
8. Fish and Chips at UK
9. The first "unofficial ride" - monorail at Orlando Airport
10. The "heat" room on Test Track, (my DH's is the cold room that follows)

Anybody else?

Ok - after showing this to my DH and DD - I have more, also.

1. Appliance Direct Commercials (ah, white porcelain)
2. Surprises in your room after a day out (once the stuffed animals were watching T.V. with the remote in hand!)
3. Sparkling sidewalk and trees at EPCOT
4. There's a great big beautiful tomorrow, waiting at the end of every day!
5. De-Vine at Animal Kingdom
6. Being picked to participate in a show or parade
7. "Magic" bar stool at The Adventurer's Club
8. Sitting in a Jacuzzi at AKL with Margarita in hand, seeing giraffes in the distance - doesn't get better than that!
9. Zippa-dee-do-dah - song in Splash Mountain
10. Turkey legs - one of the great mysteries of our time.

And hat's off to all of you who actually know the words of the safety announcement on the Monorail. When my DD was about 5, she would repeat it like this - "Por favor, Montatenga, Es pala, blah blah blah." And that is how we say it everytime to this day. I think I like our version better - Oh what fun!!! Jane

I think we can all do the speech phoenitically, but I couldn't spell a word of it!

"Please stand clear of the closing doors...", comes back to me the first time I hear it...

Some more of my favorite things:

1.) "Four for a Dollar "

2.) The flora that goes by so unnoticed everywhere my the minions...

3.) the careful selections I make at 50's PTC so that I don't get stuck eating lima beans (yes, I actually pick my food based on the sides...)

4.) watching the planning video over and over again even though I know every inch of the parks...

5.) not knowing what day it is...

This is my first post!

Here are some random things I always enjoy:
(1) the bongo music in Adventureland
(2) A nighttime boatride from Port Orleans to the Marketplace
(3) A window seat in Pinnocchio's restaurant overlooking Small World.
(4) the Transit Authority
(5) Pocky sitcks

Those are good ones too!
Especially the Bongo Music in ADventureland-I love that!
