Favorite item from room service?

I didn't know you could order a Mickey Bar! Really?!?!?! They aren't listed on the menu are they? Wow! Great! I know what I want to order now!

No they weren't on the menu. I just called and asked and they said sure you can order Mickey bars.

They are the same ones you buy in WDW. They are on the children's menu in the dining rooms. I usually order one at least once during my cruise. Now I know to get them from room service instead, or in addition to the dining room.

While the pizza was very good, the pb&j uncrustables were my favorite!! We ordered them for our 2yo dd, and usually ended up eating them ourselves!

They definitely serve the Mickey bars through room service. On 2 different days, we would mysteriously receive about 4 of them from r/s and we have NO clue why! They were yummy, though!

AWWWW! We just got off the Wonder yesterday and if I knew that we could have gotten the MM Bars for RS I would have got some for my hubby.
We liked the Black Forest Cake, the Manicotti was good (although it needed more sauce), and I really enjoyed the Mimosa the morning of our Breakfast in Bed with the Romance at Sea package and they offered a wide variety of Teas.
I have to say the only food we didn't care for was the birthday cake they brought me for my birthday (but the white chocolate model of the ship was cool) and the Boston Cream Pie in the Animator's palace left a little to be desired. Otherwise EVERYTHING was WONDERful!!!!
Chocolate Souffle at Palo's is out of this world!!!

oh Yeah! I just found one of the CC Cookies stowed away in my DH's bag. Yummmmm Breakfast!!!

DISers have said they order coffee at night for the morning -
i tried that - but it was cold by the next morning.

Don't forget the ask what the cake of the day is. We were usually good for at least two deliveries per day.

We ordered the room service breakfast (using the hang tag from the desk drawer the night before) almost every morning of our cruise. Not being morning people (or big breakfast eaters), it was so nice to have this brought each morning AND they are right on time (per your requested delivery time.)

I think people misunderstand about ordering the coffee the night before. You don't have them BRING it the night before. You hang out the breakfast request the night before, requesting your coffee at a certain time. They give you a quick call that morning a couple of minutes before they bring it.

I have read on here that people have had the coffee delivered the night before so that they weren't woken up early in the morning for their coffee and it was warm the next day. But that was a year ago too.

I didn't care for the cookies - I was deeply disappointed. But we did love the chicken fingers and dh liked the pizza.

The grapes rule! You can ask for some and they are yummy to eat, but they make especially good flyers for a game of "Who can toss the farthest off the balcony!" Oh wait.....Never mind....Err...just ignore me.

The fried chicken salad is good. It's not on the menu...you have to order a Port of Call salad and the chicken fingers...then dump the fingers on the salad for a quick and yummy meal.

I loved to get the grilled ham and cheese sandwich. My ex-boyfriend's sister and I would make sure to meet each other back at the room by midnight to get this!!!

It's been a few years since I went and I didn't realize you could get tomato soup, salad, or MM bars for room service. Hopefully I can get on a cruise soon to experience these midnight snacks!!!

I also liked the corkscrew they give you to open wine.

Another vote for the cheese platter here, also like the fruit plate and the chicken tenders. Also, tried the breakfast or just tea and coffee. It was a real nice perk having food and drink brought to our room without having to leave verandah. Wonderful.

Don't forget that room service is complimentary so make the most of it. Chill in your room, enjoy the view and let someone bring food to you, after all your on vacation!!
