Is it totally pathetic that the food I'm most looking forward to at WDW is Earl of Sandwich?! While the service is sometimes crappy, I love those sandwiches! I've been looking at the menu trying to decide which I want to have; what are your favorites?

I had the holiday sandwich over Xmas...it was great! Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy...yum!

I just ate there for the first time last week (a friend recommended it) I tried the club and loved it!

I love this one as well! Luckily, I found a local shop that serves pretty much this same sandwich, so I don't have to endure the cravings for it anymore!

I had the meatball sandwich, it was sooo delicious. My husband had the jerk chicken and loved it.

The Jerk Chicken is very yummy. I ate it twice on our last trip. DH says the Cannonball (meatball sub) is the best he has ever had. DM loves the turkey with cranberries (didn't really appeal to me).

I LOVE the All American -- turkey, buttermilk ranch, cranberries, cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato. Sounds really strange, but tastes oh so good!!!

And NO OP, it's not pathetic that you are looking forward to Earl of Sandwich more than other "disney food." I'm the same way. I hate to say it, but I've never been all that crazy about most disney food.

This sandwich was great we each had two of these during our trip in dec. and it was really great to take the boat downtown from POR.
My favorite favorite that is always on the menu is the Origianl 1762.

FYI The roast beef is served medium-rare and it is not advertised this way.

I personally didn't know this and I couldn't eat it. They gave me an exchanged.

Love the chicken and spinach sandwich but can't think of the name of it!:confused3

You are not pathetic - I love Earl of Sandwich!

That sandwich is the Florentine. I have had this one it was good but definitely eat it fresh. I took mine back to my resort and it was just okay.

Our grand gathering group recently dined twice at Earl of Sandwich for dinner during our January 8-12 trip. We really liked the quality and portions of the meals, as well as the very reasonable prices. Some of the menu selections that we enjoyed most were the Earl's Club, Le Frenchy and Florentine sandwiches, the classic tuna salad with mixed greens and dressing and the yogurt parfaits.

Although we were fortunate to find a table large enough for our group, it seems the dining area lacks sufficient tables to accommodate big crowds. The restaurant was rather busy during our visit, and several diners were left waiting for a place to sit long after they picked up their food.

Also, the counter service process is somewhat disorganized, and made more complicated by having to return through the line to pick-up previous orders (salads) after you pay. Also, the absence of trays make carrying awkward items such as soups, salads and drinks unnecessarily inconvenient.

Despite these minor shortcomings, we would definitely return to Earl of Sandwich on our next trip.

Ahhhh.... the tuna melt! Nothing fills an empty stomach after a day at the waterpark like an Earl of Sandwich Tuna Melt.... and a homemade ice cream sammich!

:cutie:

Earl of Sandwich is what my wife looks forward to the most when we go. You can't go wrong. Many good choices

The All American followed by the Beef'n'Blue.

Service there has never struck me as "crappy" I mean it's fast food. They seem every bit as nicer and a LOT more efficent then the Subway I stopped in last night.

Earl of Sandwich rocks!!! :thumbsup2

I love the Earl's Club and the All American! Will definitely be stopping by there on our next trip!
