My favorite high school teacher would have to be Coach Stewart.
Now when I was a freshman and had him for study hall (the teachers on break that block rotated study hall about every 4 weeks) I thought he had to be one of the meanest teachers I had ever encountered.
Then came 11th grade Economics which can be a very boring subject if that's not your thing. Coach Stewart made it interesting and he had this philosophy "I get paid to teach you while you are here, therefore, I do not assign homework". So for the most part aside from studying for tests we did no homework in Coach Stewarts class. We did everything in class and most of the time we reviewed enough over the test (he'd give us a study guide with exactly what would be on the test) that we didn't have to study at home. There was no excuse to fail Coach Stewarts Economics class.
So in 12th grade I took his Psychology class as an elective and it was one of my favorite classes from high school.
