Favorite Guilty Pleasure on DCL

Mickey Pretzel on last day, the desert during the first rotation in Royal Court, and of course, being glutinous during a Palo brunch.
The Grand Marnier Souffle, right?! I'm seriously going to try and order that each night. I did feel like a spoiled brat when they brought it to our dinner at Cabana's after already having it at RC a few nights prior :rolleyes1:love:

Also agree on disconnecting from wi-fi! It's so liberating and I felt a pang of sadness when I turned it back on in PC.
Hate it! Im a big sports guy and sports is ONLY basketball on cruise (stupid Disney with ESPNs basketball contract)

NO WiFi.... Told my office DCL discourages WiFi so it is extremely super, super expensive and if you are on the ship, even in KW or PR, can't connect to cell service as they shut it down on board, and I don't want to be responsible for the huge bill if we go ashore and use it then I mess up and don't turn if off again once on the ship. Talking about company cell here, so they don't want a huge bill for roaming either :rolleyes1.
No one in my office has done DCL , and doubt they will, but if someone attempts, they will come to me, as they all do for all things Disney and WDW. Then I will have to let them in on the little white lie.

Hi I just wanted to share my own list of "guilty pleasures" hehe
1. SHOPPING! I know it seems silly to waste time in the shops but in the middle of a day at sea I just love to hang in the shops and look at all the cute (and expensive!) things
2. Like most chicken fingers and mickey waffles are my guilty food....in fact just writing this is making me want some :P
3. Hanging on the open decks and just talking....again I know on cruise full of cool stuff this seems useless but sometimes in the rush of a Disney vacation I really enjoy talking with my loved ones watching the open seas.

The "English breakfast" at Cabanas on a sea day; baked beans, cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. It's the only time I ever eat like that (especially for breakfast) but really hits the spot and has become a cruise-must for me after running a few miles on Deck 4 beforehand.

I've seen plenty of football on board. Way too much football, to be honest. One of the main reasons I avoid the "pubs" on board is because they have televisions and sports is playing. I prefer a bar that doesn't have a TV.

I have 2 of them: Love the meet and greet with Princesses and other characters. I also love having wifi, and almost always get the max package, I like staying in contact, it makes me happy.

  • Showering 2-3 times in a day without worrying about the water bill
  • Trying something new that I know I will probably not like and not worrying about wasting it or the cost
  • Eating the turn-down chocolates right before bed
