The Bacon Mac n' Cheese in a bread cone at Cozy Cones in DCA. There are other varieties as well, but that's my favourite. I don't think they have any of those at WDW.

Don't forget the Chili Cone Carne!

If you eat outside the parks head down Harbor to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles.

Beignets (the ones from Jazz Kitchen in DTD are MUCH better than the ones in the park)

Bagel Twist from Maurice's
Red's Apple Freeze from Cozy Cone


For table service we really like:

Pizza from Naples in DTD

I second the gumbo at Cafe Orleans, man I love that! Plus try the asparagus wrapped in bacon at Bengal Barbecue! Someone tell me more about Roscoes Chicken and Waffles - we are staying quite close to that place.

I completely agree with you, the counter service at DLR far exceeds the counter service at WDW.

For me it would have to be:
- Corn Dogs from either the Little Red Wagon from DL or the Corn Dog Palace in DCA
- Mint Julep
- Tigger Tale
- The beef stew in a bread bowl
- Macaroons
- Gumbo from Cafe Orleans
- Pomme Frits
- Mickey Beignets
- Ice Cream from the Boardwalk at DCA

There is probably more but I am not thinking right now

Have only been once but from our trip....

Was gonna say the monte cristo and pomme frittes at Cafe Orleans but you mentioned them in your original post.
The famous Mickey Bar and Dole Whip.
The sourdogh soup bowl from Pacific Wharf (clam chowder)
The shortbread cookie from WOC Dessert plate

We also bought rice crispy squares to take home (sounds plain but super yummy with the icing) and caramel chocolate kernel corn.

Try the cheddar garlic pretzel twist and the frozen apple drink at Maurice's Treats near the Fantasy Faire. The combination is great! The frozen apple drink didn't sound appetizing until I tried it, yum!

Matterhorn Macaroons from Jolly Holiday (delish and super cheap)
Corn dogs are pretty good!
I like things that come in the bread bowls - salads and corn chowder but not actually in the bread bowls, I get them on the side and eat the bread with butter
Cheshire Cat Marshmallow Wand (many like the Tigger tail, but I don't care for the chocolate on it)
Beignets - love the different flavors! The 50th pirates was fab and love peppermint during the holidays, but original is always a winner!
Pomme Frites and the Cheese Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans
Cheese Enchiladas at Rancho del Zocalo and watching Thunder Mountain go by. Just too cool.
Bayan Beef Skewer and Outback veggie skewers at Bengel BBQ.

Ahhh the zebra domes, I've been know to pay $55 for the buffet at Boma and eat only the butternut squash soup and zebra domes, both of which are available at their cs
restaurant! I may try a churro at DL. They are not easily available where I live and I did try one at WDW and was very disappointed. It was chewy...is it supposed to be?

Holy cow, no. Crunchy on the outside and flaky on the inside.

My favorite treat that isn't offered at WDW is a marshmallow wand dipped in Carmel then chocolate. WDW doesn't have chocolate on theirs. You can get it at any of the candy stores.
