Ok, the decision making process isn't getting any easier to choose 2 excursions!! So, I am going to pick all of your brains and see which ones you liked best. We want to do 1 excursion at each stop on our upcoming Eastern. It will be my DH, myself, DD age 11, and DS age 9. Snorkeling is a must. They all look great, well most of them do. What's with the butterfly farm??
Anyways.....which ones did you do that you just LOVED and would totally recommend??
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!

well we did not do any ... when we went to st. Martins

we felt there was just enough free stufff to do
shopping / swimming / wondering around just had a great time casino peter

The five star snorke to St. John!
It was one of the best excursions I have ever been on. I still have fond memories!

We did the Rhino Ryder and Snorkel last month while in St. Maarten and had a blast. It is a 2 man inflatable boat with an outboard motor that you actually get to drive !! You are in a group of about 5-6 other boats and you go out a pretty long way to a secluded beach on the French side of the lsland where you'll have about 30-45 minutes to go snorkelling. The guide will provide you with something to drink when you're done with your swim. Once everyone is back in their boat, the guide will let you go out a little more on your own and then it's back to where you got on. The whole excursion was about 3 hours and like I said, we had a great time......Andy

Our pick for excursions -

St. Maarten: Golden Eagle Catamaran ...... just three words..... FUN, FUN, FUN!

St. Thomas: 5 Star Snorkle at St. John. Trunk Bay is absolutely gorgeous!

Whatever you decide, have a great time!

We did the Anguilla Dolphin Encounter in St Martin. It was an awesome time!

I learned all about that one from AnnMorin as her family is going. I just can't imagine spending $800.00 on one excursion! Do you have any idea just how much fun I could have with that $$$ at the World of Disney store??? I guess I just love to shop more than I love dolphins. Maybe next year? Thanks nascar for your help though!!!

I have to agree with jiminy about the dolphins. Is that excursion worth the money they charge? I wonder if it's so high because of the travel time to Anguilla.

Is really not as much so for the Dolphins (well except for DS who can't wait) but rather to go to Anguilla.
We had considered doing it on our own but were concerned about getting back to the ship in time.
Since we have been to Saint Maarten before we really did not care about spending time there but have heard such wonderful things about Anguilla from our friends that spend a week there every winter. So for us it is a logical choice. DS can swim with the Dolphins as he as always wanted (so can DH and I) and then we can spend half a day at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. To me that is worth a whole lot.........

When you get back from the excursion, you will have to tell me all about it! I am sure it will be wonderful!!!
