We are leaving in 8 days and I have yet to compile my list of drinks that I must try when drinking around the world on my adults only trip!! Please share your favorites in each of the different countries...

Thanks
~Jessi

We usually enter through the International Gateway. A frosty cold Strongbow Cider from the UK normally starts the festivities off for me.

also good - margaritas from mexico, i prefer the green apple. oh, and either the tangerience daquiri or tangerience coctail from morocco. oh huh, that was all epcot!

mgm - grandma's picnic punch at tune in lounge
ak - something blue from the dawa bar. i forget what it was called, but we asked for something refreshing, and it rocked!

oh! and on the generic drink menu, there's some sort of organic pink lemonade drink that's awesome.

um, just check out my dining reports. we drink a lot :thumbsup2

Red Rocket Ale at Big River Grill on the Boardwalk and the Margarita (on the rocks) at the Tambu Lounge (Poly)....

My favorite is the Grand Marnier Slushie in France. SO GOOD! But the drink that I drank the MOST on our last trip? Raspberry Mojito. I had it 5 different times, as so many of the restaurants had it. It was insanely good. The best ones had lots of little raspberry pieces floating around in them.

Here's some pics:

Sounds like the Blue Oasis...I get that one alot at the Dawa Bar.

Other favorites:

Tangarine Daquiri at Morocco (so sweet it's like dessert!)

Grey Goose lemonade at France (frozen lemonade with bite)

Mango Margarita at Mexico (self-explanatory)

Kungaloosh at Adventurer's Club (just hoist it and yell!)

Hurricane at Scat Cat's (the Nawlins classic - rums and fruits and more rums)

Sunken Treasure at Hurricane Hannah's (coconut, pineapple, melon, orange, blue curacao and sprite - refreshing!)

Power Play at ESPN Club (rummy and fruity, and great for a hockey game)

Pomegranite Mojito at Rix Lounge (wonderful mojito with delightfully different twist)

Belmont Stakes at Turf Club (wow...delicate and perfect apple martini with caramel surprise!)

A great bottle of Pinotage at Jiko

I second this one

Oh wait that is my margarita!! hehe

Well of course silly, its not like I was sitting there drinking both of those myself...I mean I like my liquor but I am not THAT bad....one at a time please even if they all add up to maybe 20 or so....:lmao: Remember we have pictures of many drinks from our Labor Day escapades!

If you like RUM you can't go wrong with the LAPU LAPU at the Polynesian. It's served in a hollowed out pineapple. That's my favorite!

DW likes the Glow-tini which I guess you can get anywhere. (they're too sweet for my tastes)

We likes them so much we've actually concocted them both at home several times and let's just say.....they get the job done!!! :cool1:

Anyone have pictues of them? (I'm not on my pc or I'd post some).

No pics of Lapu Lapus but here are some blue glowtinis....Many were consumed during a May dismeet...:lmao:

...and I just want to add that I never took pictures of my food or my alcohol until I joined the disboards:rotfl2:

haha--me too. Actually before I became a full fledged Disney nut, my parents were always taking pictures of their food on their WDW trips and I always kind of laughed and was like "ok....whatever"......and yada yada yada ---now I do it too!!!

I know...hahah..I always thought people were weird to tarke pics of their food or their drinks....and I still only do it at WDW, where I know there are many that do the same thing...:lmao:

Since I drink very little alcohol, I'd list the green tea from Japan at Epcot as my favorite. If I HAD to pick a favorite alcoholic beverage, it'd be a Kungaloosh from the AC (minus the whipped cream). Actually when it's on the rocks it's even better. :thumbsup2

I second the Grand Marnier slushie.... though it looks like I am going to have to try the Raspberry Mojito next time. It looks REALLY good :lovestruc

I'm getting loopy just reading this thread - oh wait maybe that's the meds I just took - :lmao:

The only time I drink "around the world" is during F&W. But now I'm going to have to try a few you have suggested. The grey goose slushy looked good as well as the Italian margarita. How is the Italian one different than a regular margarita?
