Favorite Drinks Around the World...

I'm getting loopy just reading this thread - oh wait maybe that's the meds I just took - :lmao:

The only time I drink "around the world" is during F&W. But now I'm going to have to try a few you have suggested. The grey goose slushy looked good as well as the Italian margarita. How is the Italian one different than a regular margarita?

Kristi

It's made with Limoncello. It is delicious!

I second, third, forth and fifth the Grey Goose Slushies in France. Hands down my favorite.

But now I'm dying to try a Lapu Lapu (what's in it exactly, and does anyone have a pic...sounds cool). And I guess I'll need to try a Raspberry Mojito too :::sigh::: looks like I'll have to book a trip...I mean..all in the name of research. :thumbsup2

Here you go:
And the official recipe for Lapu Lapu
from the Tambu lounge, Polynesian resort

1 ounce Myer's Rum
1/2 ounce Bacardi 151
Scorpion Mix (consists of half-and-half sour mix and orange juice)
Enough ice to chill it, crushed so it fits in the pineapple
Garnish: Cherry
Served in: Hollowed fresh pineapple, the pineapple stem is the lid with a small wedge removed so a straw can be inserted.
Cut the leaves off the stem and reattach to the "lid" using a shortened toothpick. Make a slice off the bottom of the pineapple so it will sit upright properly and not tip over. This means the bottom will be moist and sticky.

I can't find a picture right now (I will post one if I do) but they look as good as they taste! :)

I had a rasberry sake during F&W this year and it was AWESOME!!
I also like the plum wine offered in Japan and China.
