ok i saw the post about your favorite disney sound and i was thinking that i have favorite memories from all my senses. this may not make sense but...
FAVORITE-
smell-the fall of rome at spaceship earth
taste-turkey legs
sight-the castle (obviously)
sound-monorail (please stand clear of the door)
touch-ok, i guess this is a hard one but...either the melty ice cream bars or ooh i know the worn walls inside splash mountain

try and be creative, especially on touch. hehe

when I read your line about the smell of Rome Burning, I could actually smell it. It brought back a lot of great memories.
I concur about Food Rocks: one of Disney's big mistakes is closing it down.
My favourites are:
Smell: definitely Rome Burning
Taste: Ghiradelli's Ice Cream Sundae (anyone it does not matter), but Churros take a close second (first place I ever ate a churro, and still is the best place to have one)
Sight: The train station as you come across the Living Seas Lagoon
Sound: The train whistle as it leaves the different stations
Touch: the feel of the cobblestones on Main Street

Thank you for bringing these memories back to me.

Smell- popcorn in MK

Taste - ESPN wings

Sight - Wishes

Sound - has to be the monorail speil

Touch - the feeling of the tear in my eye and rolling down my face while watching my son enjoy WDW.

smell: the stale water at splash mountain
sound: the "pretty good sure as your born" song at splash mountain (i won't share what i THOUGHT, until recently, they were saying )
taste: mmmmickeybars. or the mint tea in morrocco.
sight: the view of tommorrowland from the TTA
touch: a hug from Chip

Smell - all the goodness of the Main Street bakery
Taste - parmesan mashed potatoes during that first night Chef Mickey's dinner
Sight - the big purple gates
Sound - the opening notes to Fantasmic
Touch - the feel of the warm ground while watching the parades

Smell-The musty water in Pirates.
Taste-Mickey bars, of course.
Sight-the castle and the Boardwalk lit up at night.
Sound-music in Peter Pan and the car noises when flying over London--also the piano guy at the Boardwalk!
Touch-Holding my daughter's hand when waiting in line to see Mickey for the first time every trip.

Sight - The castle at night changing colors

Sound - The monorail announcements

Touch - How soft Winnie the Pooh feels when you hug him

Smell - Flame Tree Barbeque in AK

Sight - the purple gates, riding the monorail through the Contemporary, EPCOT at night especially the fountains

Sound - monorail spiel, the trumpet fanfare at the beginning of Spectromagic, the very beginning of Festival Of the Lion King, the point every trip where my children come up to me and quietly say "thank you, Daddy, for bringing us here"

Taste - Flame Tree Barbeque, Mickey Bars, Dole Whips, cream puffs from France

Touch - holding hands with my wife or girls; I don't know that this qualifies as touch, but the feeling in my stomach right before my favorite rides, such as RNRollercoaster or Mission Space

i get so excited reading these. all these things are pretty much my favorite part of disney world.

Sight: Main Street lit up at night.

Sound: "It's a small world after all..........", over and over....

Smell: Hate to take someone else's...but....the hand rails in the boats of Splash Mountain.

Taste: The pretzel bread at Cinderella's Royal Table lunch....not only the taste...but the atmosphere.

Touch: The feel of the pillow each night at the resort when we've had a magical, fun packed day!

Smell- walking down main street getting closer and closer to the bakery

Sight- i'm a people watcher... so for me the looks on kids(of all ages) faces when they see the castle for the 1st or 50th time

Sound- monorail spiel, music from Fantasmic, the bus pulling up to the bus stop knowing that your day at the parks is about to start...

Taste- a hot dog from Casey's on main street (the only place i can eat hot dogs anywhere) turkey legs, candy apple when im walking around DTD, and a slushie from Scuttles Landing in Fantasyland.

Touch- carring around bags of souvieners and feeling how light my wallet keeps getting when ever i go into a shop...

Smell: rome burning, i just love each smell at disney it brings back so many great memories

Sight: seeing the castle for the first time every trip and seeing the people who have never been on a ride before get really excited and then seeing them when they get off and can't stop talking about it

Sound: all the disney music and all the people that are laughing

Taste: mickey bars and the mickey macaroni and chees at the Land

Touch: the heat and humidity (right now here where I live it's zero degrees and I just had to clean my driveway from a snow storm )

Smell: Candy outside of the shop on Main Street

Sight: The first view of the castle from the ferry or bus before getting inside the park.

Sound:Beginning of Fantasmic

Taste: Frozen four layer Margaritas outside of Mexico

Touch: the trunk of the Tree of Life; holding hands with Mickey; but my favorite is holding hands with DH while watching WISHES

Smell - Cookies baking on Main St.
Sight - Castle of course!!
Sound - Illuminations or the good night message at Mk
Taste - Elephant ears in Epcot
Touch - Gripping the handle bars as you go down Splash Mountain

ok here's mine...

smell~this one is hard!! uhm...ok, I'm gonna have to say the smell of the waffle cones in the ice cream shop on the right hand side...the name slipped right out of my head..the one on Main Street in MK.


sight~The Welcome to Disney World sign when you drive up...let's you know your "home".


sound~the music to wishes...it gives me the chills & goosebumps listening to it!!


taste~"beverly" in Epcot ...no really the spiring rolls in the Nine Dragons restaraunt...IM ADDICTED!!!!


touch~the touch of my girls hugging me for taking them to the happiest place on earth!!!

Smell - Rome burning is tough to beat.

Sight - Looking out the doors on Tower of Terror

Sound - Music at Fantasmic as Steamboat Willie comes around the bend.

Taste - Cheesburger at Peco's Bills Cafe

Touch - The warm air on your face at Tower of Terror just before you drop.

Can't wait to get back.

For me....
Sight....that first look at the castle as I come down Main Street.
Smell....the cookies in the bakery.....how many of you realize that it is piped in!
Sounds.....got of few of these.....the singers on Main Street, the beginning music of Fantasmic....and the Monorail speil!
Taste....Mickey Bars, Dole Whips and fresh fruit from the stand outside of Kilimanjaro Safari at AK.
Touch.....the mosaic walls inside of Cinderella Castle. Just touching it seems Magical to me! Knowing the care and love that went into making it.

But anyway...
Smell: The Land...Just the way it smells when you walk through the doors is great.

Taste: Corndogs at The Sci-Fi and Casey's Hotdogs

Sound:The RnRC pre-show and Wishes...the acutal song they play after the fireworks

Touch: A hug from Stitch...he always gives the BEST hugs!

okay these are mine and my DH's:

smell: turkey legs (DH's)

sight: Illuminations (Dh said the Mickey Mouse shaped sand trap, guess what his favorite WDW activity is??)

sound: music at Illuminations (DH: screams at Tower of Terror!)

taste: Dole Whip (DH and me!!)

touch: Mickey's fuzzy hand as you take that special pic with him (DH said the touch of the turnstile as you enter a park, knowing you are there!!)

Next ----
