Favorite CS in the World Showcase?

I feel like every time we go to Epcot we eat at the Sunshine Seasons/food court-type eatery in the Land. (Sorry if that is the wrong name!) It's certainly convenient and tasty enough, but I want to try something different our next trip.

Can you tell me your favorite counter service places at World Showcase? DH and I are always up for something different; we will have our little ones, ages 4 and 16mo, with us. They are not the pickiest eaters ever, but it would be helpful to have some choices that would be of interest to them as well.

Thanks!

Yakatori [sp?] House in Japan is good. I like the Shogun Platter (chicken & beef, white rice w/ pickled ginger) and DW likes the chicken meal (same as mine, just no beef). The dessert is a Ginger cake which was really good one time, and not-that-great the next. Most recently we swapped out the cake for a pre-packaged chocolate chip cookie that is typically a child's dessert. Also, on the most recent trip, there was the option to add a piece of tempura shrimp to the Shogun Platter. It was ok...not the best, but nice to have something else with the meal. Happy Eating!

Tangerine Cafe is in Morocco (Schwarma Platter is very nice)

Cantina de San Angel is in Mexico (they have a variety plate that is very good as well)

We ate at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe (bakery in Norway) for lunch when we were there in May and I can't wait to go back on our trip in September. Their sandwiches were delicious and large. The pastries are also wonderful!

The Cantina de San Angel is very good and it provides a good spot for viewing Illuminations :thumbsup2

the boulangerie in france, croissant with ham and then a chocolate eclair, yummy!!
plus they dont have a kids menu, so for once, your kids can order whatever they want!
(or mommy can order the 2 desserts she wants and split;):rotfl2:

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe (bakery in Norway) for lunch. Love the Club sandwich there.
Tangierine Cafe for dinner. Meatball dinner was my favorite this past vacation.
Don't forget dessert at either CS...YUMMO!!

Another vote for Tangerine Cafe. We split a CS meal between 3 of us and had enough to last us until we got around to Lotus Blossom CS in China, where we shared another meal. We like splitting meals and eating at a variety of places.

Another vote for the Boulangerie Patisserie in France. I love the ham and cheese croissant, the quiche is also very good. There is a bread and cheese plate that is also great. And you can get an awesome dessert!

My DH's favorite is fish and chips in England. A bit greasy for me but OK.

My DD's favorite is Yakitori House in Japan.

Another vote for Yakitori House (Japan) and Tangierine Cafe (Morocco). Kids meals available at both.

France. My favorite of all of them!

Sommerfest in Germany..... the best bratwurst and the apple strudel is yummy.

Thank you for the great suggestions, everyone! Looks like we have some great options! Plus, F&W! We are set ;)

DH and I can not narrow it to just one :rotfl:
Our choices would be Tangerine Cafe in Morrocco, Cantina de San Angel in Mexico and the bakery in France
Have a Great Trip

I like to make a meal out of the various bakeries/stands around World Showcase.. school bread here, croissant there.. you should try it!
