I would like to add Cruise Director Jim, he was on our last cruise. He had a great sense of humor and was always entertaining.

Oh no!! We were hoping to see here again on our next cruise - we enjoyed her service on our honeymoon and second anniversary.

Hopefully it is for better things - Yikes - Is there anything better than DCL?? ;-)

Jo...when I was on the Wonder last month I asked about Cruise Director Jim and I am pretty sure they said he was no longer with DCL....or was that CD Rick...now I am not sure....my mind is long gone!!!!

Most of my "old favorites" left at Dry Dock - most unsure if they would return or not. Hard to be away from family/friends/culture. We will be seeing some of our "family on the ship" soon - can't wait!!!

Rae,

If you are talking about Roberto from Peru, he won't be back on the ship until November. He left for his two month vacation the week after we disembarked. I heard from Sarah last week that he was able to take his wife on a very nice 10th wedding anniversary vacation.

Roberto did mention your name to us while we were on our cruise in August.

Yes, that's Roberto - glad he was able to take his wife on the cruise. He's a darling man who ALWAYS has a smile, and a magic trick for Michael. Excellent server and wonderful human being - as so many of the cm's are.

Thanks for sharing that with me, Andy - it's always nice to hear what's going on with our ship family!

Actually they are in Europe, right now as a matter of fact!!!

Thx for the updates! This last cruise was the BEST for our family. We had great servers (Sompong and Joel) and great entertainers....Andy, Que, Karen, Ellen, SheShe, etc.....

I vote for Trevor and Bob -- they are both activities people (on the Wonder). They kept us laughing our whole cruise!

CHRISTOPHE--DININGROOM MANAGER on the MAGIC

On the second cruise we had requested a dessert that would be OK on the Atkins Diet. Christophe was our Head Server and he made arrangements to have it made according to our recipe and a serving for each of us at the last 6 dinners.

On the third cruise we asked the Head Waiter to arrange the same dessert. Each night we got an excuse--not the dessert. Finally I went to Christophe, who was then the Diningroom Manager, and complained. He got it taken care of the next night!

He was serving the table behind us and what a character!!! A very charming man and probably a joy to have as a server!

It's been over two weeks! It's time for an update! Anyone but SheShe and Ellen still in the entertainment department? Who's in charge of Bingo......we need updates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you haven't been on the Magic since Dry Dock...
you need to go see the Cove Cafe.
If Miguel and Carolina are there, have a seat at the bar. They are absolutely the best. We went back everynight just to have coffee and a drink with them!!!!
We had so-so servers. We've cruised before and we're not impressed. Apperently our server wasn't feeling well, so we'll give him the benefit.

In flounders reef, Tracy went out of her way for my two year old! I was very impressed and grateful.

made our cruise especially Magical!!!

I just wanted to add that Miguel is wonderful - We too went to the Cove a lot late at night and would sometimes close the place. He was really nice and made our trip great!!!

We as well had so-so servers - Maybe it is the end of the contract? I don't know, but what a difference a server can make - Sometimes we skipped dinner and went to the Cove - Miguel knew how to make us laugh and we always had a good time when we were there!

Kudos to Miguel and all the bar staff at Diversions!!!
