Favorite Counter Service places & meals

We always have a hard time spending our CS credits.
The only place we've found that we liked was Wolfgang puck express.

Earl of Sandwich at DD is great. And there are a couple of decent places at WS in EPCOT. The Mexican Cantina has reopened and the bakery in Norway has some yummy sandwiches. But I have to agree that there aren't too many good ones to choose from.

Sunshine Seasons in Epcot is great as well as Main St bakery. I think one of the best in Animal Kingdom if you like bbq is Flame Tree.

We like the Columbia Harbor House in MK for CS and Cooke's of Dublin in DTD.Check out their menus here or at www.allears.net to see if the food appeals to you.

Sunshine Seasons in Epcot is great as well as Main St bakery. I think one of the best in Animal Kingdom if you like bbq is Flame Tree.

We have gone to those 2 SS & FT during every trip I can remember. Plan on them again this trip.

Not sure if you'd be in to it but in Frontierland, we absolutely loved Pecos Bill Tale Tale Inn and Cafe. My wife was thrilled about the Taco Salad Bar, as well as my oldest daughter. I actually really enjoyeed the 1/3 Angus Cheeseburger. I would top the burger with fresh cooked mushrooms from the Taco Salad Bar. The lines were quick because it is self service and even though the place was real busy the atmosphere was great.

Also, Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland was actually pretty good too. My wife and I really enjoyed the 8 piece Chicken Nuggets; they were a little spicy and well cooked.

I think the key to a good counter service meal is not to go during peak lunch times, try before noon or after 2pm. Personally I think a lot of the CS locations are great at times when they are not overcrowded.
MK - Pecos Bills - sit outside
EP - CS at Mexico has always been good and something different besides the usual burgers and chicken. Sunshine Seasons at the Land is also good.
DHS - sandwiches at Starring Rolls bakery
AK - flame tree BBQ is good and has a nice outdoor seating area

Here's another tip, the CS at the resorts during the day are not crowded and have great service, because they're not as busy, whatever you get will be cooked when you order it.
