I always feel like after Thanksgiving, I can start playing Christmas music. I love Christmas music.

My fav is Kenny G. I will leave it playing all day at the office.

What is your fav CD?

When it comes to XMAS music I could only listen to Burl Ives..He really gets me in the holiday spirit.

This sounds like it should be one of MeanLaureen's polls! LOL! Burl Ives? I remember listening to his "records" when I was a little kid. I remember my dad sitting in a rocker playing the record, singing with it, and me falling asleep...thanks for the memory!! :teeth: :Pinkbounc

I have a couple favorites, but can't think of them now. Not your usual pop stuff. Oh! One is Linda Ronstadt...have to LOVE that voice! The other is by a female Christian music singer, but her name escapes me now.

Barry Manilow..my new favorite..AI Christmas..only Clay's songs..lol!..I also love the Kenny G one's..have them all..and Celine Dion has a really nice one also..

JIMMY BUFFETT'S Christmas Island
But I like the Keeny G, Gloria Estefan, and Chicago ones too.

And of course Burl Ives, Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, And the Mormon Tabernacle choir's Hallelujah Chorus

Steve

Harry Connick Jr.'s

We have 2 dueling radio stations here playing non stop Christmas music till midnight on Christmas day, I was listening when they first started last week, but had to stop for a while so I could get excited about putting our 30 or so CD's in the player which as become our Black Friday morning tradition. We always start off by listening to Harry first though:D

The Three Tenors......especially the little guy......his voice trying to sing some of the Christmas carols gives me goosebumps

I love all christmas music. It's really hard for me to decide which ones are my favorite.

<font color=navy>I love my Time Life CD with familiar songs by famous artists, but my all-time favorite is a Christmas Portrait, by the Carpenters.

I love their music. :)

I love my Andy Williams and Manheim Steamroller CDs, but my absolute favorite a Bing Crosby CD that has the Bing Crosby/David Bowie duet of Drummer Boy and Peace on Earth. I adore that song and when I found it on CD, I bought the CD without even considering what else was on it, but it is an awesome CD.

Jim Reeves. I love his voice. I loved listening to him when I was little.

I bought DD Disney Christmas favorites. She really is enjoying it.

but one of my all time favorites is
Kathy Mattea-Good News. The songs are beautiful and not the same old stuff

Also listening to Amy Grant--Tennessee Christmas!

We Three Kings by the Roches. They got their start singing Christmas Carols on the streets of New York. My DD hates the campy NY accents in the songs, but I get a kick out of it!

Last year I picked the Now That's What I Call Christmas CD--It was a collection of Christmas favorites. That one gets a lot of time in my CD Changer during December too.

I actually have favorite songs from a bunch of different artists. I love Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Carol of the Bells, Manheim Steamrollers Pacheabel's (sp?) Canon, Steven Curtis Chapman has a new one out at the Hallmark stores which is very nice. I also love when the carols are played by orchestra's with no vocals.

I think I need a multi CD player :teeth:

I like the c/d where Rudolph meets Frosty, the music is outstanding

Jim Brickman - The Gift
Amy Grant - Tennessee Christmas
David Foster - The Christmas Album

All three conveniently located in my CD player as I type....

I like my Kenny G cd although I used to have this Rosie O'Donnel Christmas cd I have no idea what happened to it. I also enjoy my Hanson Christmas CD yes it's true I love Hanson
