Favorite Castle Pictures...

The one in my signature is my favorite. :)

dmslush...that is so cool...was it a misty day, or do you have a cool trick that you can share? Really captures it in a "dreamy" way. I love it!

My camera is digital...it's a Fuji Finepix s7000. I love it...the pics are great because of the camera...not the photographer :flower:

My favorites, taken over the past three years!

Oh, the pictures are almost painful! They are wonderful and making me really anxious. Time should be going quickly as busy as I am, but it is just dragging!!!

Thanks so much to everyone that has posted. I especially love the fireworks.

Miller, the pic at night with the fireworks is so beautiful. Using it as a background, hope you don't mind?

Oh my gosh Miller1412, your pictures gave me chills!! They are beautiful! I'm buying our first digital for our trip in June. Did you use a manual setting or automatic and did you use a tripod? I hope it was automatic because I an idiot when it comes to manual! :rotfl2:

The Castle looks gorgeous now!!! I can't wait to take photos of it in October!!!!

Here's some of my faves:

I must say, I love looking at all these pictures of the castle, because it reminds me of how she normally looks! I tend to forget...even though the last time I saw Cindy's Castle "normal" was just last September...

Nope! Don't mind at all. I really enjoyed looking at everyone else's before we went in March. I can't see the castle enough. All the different angles and shots make it look new every time. :)

I used a manual setting for the fireworks and night pics, and a combo of auto and manual for the day time shots. It kind of depended on how long I had to take the shot, I didn't want to be in the way too much. That's a whole other thread! ;)
I did not use a tripod. I just did my best to steady on a nearby trashcan, or the handle of my stroller.
Good luck with your digital. The best part about digital is that you can really play around with it at no extra expense. Take a million pics...trash the ones that don't come out, but you'll get a few great ones too! I love my FinePix. My poor old Nikkon SLR is sitting in the closet now, gathering dust :guilty:
