We will be using the regular Disney Dining plan (at least for right now) during our trip in November. We don't have to eat breakfast every morning, but I would like some breakfast options to pay OOP. We will be staying at AKL so Boma is a possibility as we liked it in the past. We have Crystal Palace on the list as well. The California Grill brunch has always been appealing, but I don't want to spend the money or use 2 credits for it as I'd rather use 2 credits at Yachtsman's Steakhouse for our anniversary. What are some of your favorite breakfast spots? Can be TS or QS, doesn't matter. Thanks!

You should review the cost of a Dining Credit with the Dining Plan.

Breakfast is rarely a good value, and I'm not certain Boma is an exception @ $25.

On the other hand, the cost of CA Grill brunch ($80) may provide better value than a steak dinner at Yachtsman.

[Better steak at Shula's. Sharing a 2-lb steak may be better value too]

Out-of-pocket (OOP) breakfasts at 1900 Park Fare & Cape May can be good value, especially if you enjoy smoked salmon.

OOP for the buffet at Fresh, inside the Dolphin, can also be good value, especially if you enjoy fresh juices (i.e., carrot, wheat grass) - and made even more affordable if you have AAA for discounting.

And OOP at Boardwalk's Trattoria al Forno for Bon Voyage breakfast works because you get characters (2-Princesses & their Princes) and an a la carte menu.

Boma, Crystal Palace, WCC, Cape May, Trail’s End, and Tusker House.

Following because we are going in December and mulling the same questions

I'm a big fan of the Wave breakfast buffet. You can also order from the menu if you prefer. And with the walking path from MK it's easy to get to: just bus to MK and walk. Good food and good service, generally easy to get an ADR, nice relaxing atmosphere. I love this place. (It's also good for a lunch break from the MK.)

That said, if I were staying at AKL, Boma would be a must - I've always heard great things about it.

Yes, we would likely pay oop for breakfast options. I've never been to Shula's. We just wanted a really good steak option for our anniversary.

Boma, Crystal Palace, WCC, Cape May, Trail’s End, and Tusker House.
Most of those are on my list, thanks!

We always eat breakfast at the Wave when we visit WDW.
Thanks!

I have considered The Wave in the past but I didn't realize you could either do the buffet or order from the menu.

Boma was great for breakfast, but I think we enjoyed it more for dinner.

We stayed at OKW for four nights during the marathon in January and ate at Olivia's four times during those four nights. Once for lunch and three times for breakfast. We would have eaten breakfast one more morning, but we didn't get packed up and out of the villa until right at 11AM on Sunday morning and breakfast was over at 10:30 or 11.

My favorite is Crystal Palace. I used to really like 1900 Park Fare but on my last trip it wasn’t really good.

Whispering Canyon at WL is also really good.

I love the breakfast at Kona in Poly. Tonga toast and a bloody Mary are always a good idea! We used to go to Il Forno but now that it's a character meal it's off of our list. Still the food is very good and access to HS and Epcot afterwards is nice.
Boma is a great choice if you are staying at AKL, but we have also enjoyed grabbing some Mickey Waffles and other breakfast stuff from The Mara QS at Jambo.

Kona Cafe at the Poly is my absolute favourite! I really like breakfast or brunch at Tusker House in AK and you can't beat early entry to MK for Breakfast at Crystal Palace. QS locations seem to all have the same stuff for breakfast but I like Les Halles Boulangery Patissery in Epcot and Captain Cooks for its Tonga Toast at the Poly. I also really like Sleepy Hollow in MK for their stuffed waffles.

We don't like big breakfast and my son would be happy to skip it but I have to have something so what I get depends a lot on whether he is up or not when I get hungry. It normally depends on what park we decide to go to that day and if we are being lazy or not. If we are being lazy, we will go to the resort food court, it's the only time we eat at the resort food court. If we want to get to the park as soon as we get dressed, we will grab something at the park. If AK I like the muffins or breakfast wrap at the little stand just before Safari (sorry never can remember the name), if we are going to MK we normally eat at the resort because there aren't many just grab a muffin or pastry places there except Starbucks and I dislike Starbucks. If we go to HS we normally ride ToT first thing then get a pastry at the little Joeffrys cart right there. If we go to Epcot, we like to grab something at France. If we want a sit down stuff yourself until you can't move, we go to the Med Grill at Dolphin. I'm not a huge buffet fan but they have a good one with a great egg station where they will make any kind of omelet you want, you get the fixins yourself and hand it to them. They have the best juices ever and the service is excellent. It is usually our last morning meal before we hit the road.

We do Crystal Palace for breakfast every trip, it's our favorite with 1900 Park Fare a close 2nd. I can't go to Disney without my Poohs french toast and breakfast lasagna, it's 99.8% perfect for me, what would push it to 100% would if they would add Stitch juice, lol.

I think Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge is also a great option for a TS breakfast OOP. That and Trails End (buffet) are 2 of my fave's, along with Olivia's, for TS breakfast outside of parks.

And the Garden Grove breakfast buffet on weekends is a good deal with a AAA discount - there are characters! And MTO eggs/omelettes...
