The only one of those that's near me is IHOP, and trying that once was more than enough for me :( There's a cracker barrel about 30 miles away. Most of those others I've never even heard of.

We have so many great local Mom & Pop places in my area that I wouldn't even consider going to one of the chains for breakfast, and when we travel we always look for a Mom & Pop kind of place.

So I voted "OTHER" aka "None of the above"

I'm after pancakes if I ever eat breakfast. It's IHOP for me.

For chain restaurants, Cracker Barrel would be my first choice. I always get the Sunrise Sampler. It's been quite awhile since we've been, we should remedy that. :)

I also really like IHOP, and Denny's is a good choice too. Used to love Bob Evans but not so much anymore.

Cracker Barrel is the greatest!! My DBF and I drive 45 minutes to go to the location nearest our house, totally worth it.

We don't have one of those listed..:rotfl2:

Personally I LOVE to go out for breakfast.. It sets my tone for the day, and somehow I just really leave happier.. We go mainly on the reserve to a Mom and Pop chain.. We have many chains which I find more $$ and not as good..

I like perkins but Cracker Barrel is much closer.

We travel south several times a year and we eat at Waffle House. Always an easy stop right off the highway and the food is fresh and consistently good.
I used to think I would like Waffle House until they came to this area. The two local ones are dirty and the waffles are inconsistent, either burnt or under done. I haven't been in years.

A clean Waffle House just wouldn't be Waffle House :lmao:

Oddly enough, I have never had a waffle there, nor anyone that's been with me that I can recall. :scratchin

The only one on the list I care for is Cracker Barrel, but our local CB's breakfasts are way too greasy.

So, for us it is Panera or one of our many diners.

:)

I've never had a waffle there either! I almost always get the cheese 'n eggs with bacon or sausage and raisin toast, with grits.

I vote other - we used to eat at Perkins regularly until someone gave dh and I a gift card to Mimi's Cafe for our wedding. It's a chain but there's only one in this area and we hadn't tried it. We LoVE their breakfasts. The theme is French so they have very good baked goods, super tick pancakes, etc. for some reason we've never eaten there much for other meals but I would eat breakfast there every day if I could! :cloud9:

My favorite is the "Original Pancake House". Their bacon is particularly delicious, very thick cut which is what I love, their toast is thick whole grain with lots of flavor, their fruit is always fresh and beautiful.

My go to there is bacon (I've even been known to order double bacon), poached eggs, toast, and a fruit platter to share. Plus lots of ice tea.

I can count on one hand the number of times I have eaten breakfast at a restaurant in the 17 years me and DH have lived together. It's just not something we do. I would rather cook myself and relax in my pajamas that get ready and go out to eat.

When we travel we either eat the free hotel breakfast or bring something along to snack on like fruit and breakfast bar ect. Once we stayed at a hotel that gave free breakfast vouchers for the Denny's next door. It was so bad we didn't go back after the first day to claim our "free" breakfast. It was terrible and really greasy.

Oh and I am pretty cheap and don't want to waste money on a breakfast out. When traveling it's typical for us to eat the free hotel breakfast, snack on our own snacks in the afternoon and than go out for dinner. It's rare that we actually pay for more than one meal a day.

So, you're the ones sneaking in :rotfl:

One time we were eating breakfast at a Hampton Inn. There was another chain next door. We watched people from the other motel come in for breakfast.

I voted for Cracker Barrel, but I don't really like their breakfast (unless you count the biscuits and jelly :thumbsup2). We usually go there for lunch, and I get the "vegetable" plate.

However, Mimi's Cafe makes the best pancakes I've ever had, so I should have voted "other". Even when we go there for lunch, I often get the pancakes with bacon. Scrumptious!!

We aren't really big breakfast people as far as going out. One of our favorite chains to go to for a late, leisurely breakfast is Einstein's.

My favorite is Bob Evans, good food, clean place and the waitress are always walking all over making sure your coffee is full and hot

We don't have any of the chains listed. Of the chains we do have in Canada, my favourites are the Sunset Grill and Cora's. However, there is a cafe around the corner from our house that has has a lobster, egg and cheese breakfast panini made from live lobsters flown in daily from Nova Scotia so we usually end up there.:goodvibes

I do have wonderful childhood memories of the breakfast buffet at the Golden Griddle but my most recent visit will be the last.

Of the chains listed, I do love Cracker Barrel!

Breakfast food is my FAVORITE and there are a number of small, locally-owned diners we frequent in the Boston area.

Haven't heard of Biscuitville or Bob Evans; IHOP isn't as good as when I was a kid, so we only go there when I've "forgotten" how bad it is now, LOL.

Finally tried Waffle House last year when traveling in the South, after many years of being told "you'll love it" -- *blech*

And you couldn't pay me enough to go to a Cracker Barrel (or a Chick Fil A, for that matter).

If we weren't snowed in, I'd head for "The Pancake Man" in the morning!

Diners don't exist in my little part of the world so I have no experience with them.

My favorite would have to be Waffle House. Mainly because I work 3rd shift and its the only thing that is open when I go in and get off. I too have never eaten their waffles -- I love the cheese steak sandwich with smothered, covered hashbrowns and grits.

I only eat at Cracker Barrel when we travel. The food is fairly consistent at all their restaurants so we call this our safe travel restaurant. However, the type of food they serve I would rather cook myself.

We ate at a Bob Evans for the first type 2 years ago in Orlando. The food here is a lot like Cracker Barrel. So not bad but nothing I would go out of my way for.

I hate IHOP. Our local restaurant waters down their pancake mix or something. The food tastes weird and gross.

I don't consider Cracker Barrel a breakfast chain but they have the best pancakes. I like that there's one close enough to go to but too far to do so regularly. I won't step foot in IHOP or Denny's. I also live in the land of diners so there' are dozens of better options. I have never been to a Bob Evans or Waffle House.

Perkins for chain. We have a few local places I love, too...Pizza Luce, Mickey's Diner, Keys, and Four Inns are among my faves.
