If you're a Disney-ophile worth your salt, you know that Walt's favorite bit of animation was Cinderella getting her dress.

So, what's YOUR favorite Disney animation? I wonder if our shared gay & lesbian sensibilities will come up with similar stuff.

I'll start. I've got two.

1. The duel between Flora and Meriweather in SLEEPING BEAUTY. ("Make it pink! Blue! PINK! BLUEEEE!")

2. Merlin and Mim's duel in SWORD AND THE STONE. I could watch that over and over again.

The opening scenes from Pinocchio. Some of that animation is amazing and they did it all by hand!

The Sorcerer's Apprentice
from Fantasia and Fantasia 2000

So many great animation moments, but I do like the ball room dance in Beauty and the Beast. The sweeping photography, the characters floating across the ball room floor, the magic of the scene.

The hurricane scene in The Little Mermaid and the opening scene in The Lion King. AWESOME!

The Lion King's opening number, Nightmare Before Christmas, and any of the original Fantasia sequences.
