Favorite "bad guy"

"Red" Reddington from The Blacklist

Benjamin Linus from Lost

Joker from The Dark Knight

Christian Troy from Nip/Tuck (not really a bad guy but pretty much a giant ******)

I'll toss in an honorable mention for Natalie Dormer's Moriarty from Elementary. And adding the Mikkelsen version of Hannibal Lecter.

Randall Flagg (The Stand)

what about
Cullen Bohannan (Hell on Wheels) is he a bad guy?!

Any character played by Alan Rickman:

- The bad guy in Die Hard
- The Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood
- Tybalt in Romeo & Juliet
- Snape ... well, we found out at the end that he'd been a good guy all along, but he certainly did walk the line between good and bad well.

However, I must also give honorable mention to Sawyer from Lost.

Moriarty, as played by Andrew Scott in Sherlock.

I'm on a major Sherlock kick at the moment.

Omar Little "The Wire"

Was Omar a bad guy? He was a "bad guy" in the sense that he lived by robbing and he killed people, but he only robbed and killed drug dealers. He left civilians alone.

His ethics were pretty straightforward and good--for that show, anyway. Or as he and Bunk Moreland famously discussed, "A man's gotta have a code."

That was one of the great things about that show. Lots of "good guys" who were bad, lots of "bad guys" who were good, and most everybody had their moments of good and bad.

Plenty of favorites. My current is "Hannibal". My dd has forced me to watch it with her.;)

Old favs are...

Darth Vader, "Star Wars"

Agent Smith, "The Matrix"

"Devil" (Tim Curry), "Legend"

Joan Crawford, "Mommie Dearest"

KHAN!, "Wrath of Khan"

Khan (Cumberbatch), "Into the Darkness"

The Joker (ala Jack Nicholson & Heath Ledger), "Batman"

Jack, "The Shining"

Hans Gruber, "Die Hard"

Voldermort, "Harry Potter"

Goldfinger, in James Bond

Wicked Witch of the West, "Wizard of Oz"

Awesome list! Thanks ahead of time for tonight's nightmare! ;)

Loki
Walter White (agree that Jessie wasn't a "bad" guy but WW certainly turned into one.)
Madeline Stowe in Revenge. She gives me chills.

This

Oh, come on... Jessie wasn't BAD bad...just..misguided:)

Okay--Jesse's not bad. I love that he has a soft heart under all the other stuff!

How about Glenn Close as Patty Hughs in Damages? I think she is manipulative and evil.
