Favor Ideas

I've got most of the wedding details nailed down but I'm still undecided about favors. I want to do something more than just candy and I'm thinking something with a Disney theme, but nothing too expensive. Anyone got creative or unique ideas?

I bought some small photo albums (less than $1 a piece) at a craft store, the cover picture of the photo album slipped out and I got some white cardstock and on the cardstock I put a picture of the castle with our names and date and put that as the cover of the photo album. This way everyone had a favor and a keepsake to put wedding photos in.

We also had the plastic glass slippers and we got some small mesh bags and put some pixie dust in them (colored glitter) and glued the mesh bag into the slipper. On the slipper we attached a favor card, on one side was our names and date with a picture of the castle and on the other was a saying about taking this pixie dust home with you to remember our magical day.

Well, I bought custom cookies from www.beau-coup.com that they made to look like our cake and monogramed with our names and date. Our guests loved them!

We had white disney shaped characters that were pepermints wrapped n tulle. It was soooo cheap, plus it made tons of favors. Everyone loved them!!! We bought 20 lbs. of mints at candywarehouse.com for about $40.00. With the tulle and ribbon, it cost us maybe $60.00 to make 250 favors. We have about 5 lbs of mints left over too. I was very pleased. We had bought a few of the 'glass slippers', they just looked really goofy wrapped up in tulle, plus they were kinda expensive. The mints were so adorable, plus perfect being white for a wedding.

I'm thinking of doing something with Disney Dollars. Although I haven't quite worked out what. Maybe mounted somehow on a scroll with our names and date of wedding.
