Fave Doctor Who?

Out of the "modern" doctors, who do you like the most? I can't personally choose... they're all cool in their own sort of way! Especially in their reactions to the daleks, who I find quite creepy in these recent episodes...

While Tennant grew on me after a while, Eccleston was my first Doctor, so he's my favorite.

hard to say.

when Doctor Who first came to american T.V., and I became a fan.

I went to netflix and rented all the original series.
I even saw the disaster of the full length movie!

Tom Baker, it kills me that he's not a "modern" doctor, damn I feel old.

But in the resurrected series, I'm a David Tennant fan. DS16 likes David Tennant and DH says Matt Smith is growing on him.

Yeah, I kind of lean toward Matt Smith, simply because he seems to bring an energy to the part.

then again, the writers are really starting to get some good story arcs going.

I would like them to bring back Donna Noble and Rose somehow!

Matt has definitely carried the character to a new level. He is a very complex Doctor and plays the character as someone who skirts good and evil.

I liked Rose but I'm going to miss Amy and Rory. I can't wait to see how it plays out next week.

I agree with this. I was anti-11 for awhile just because I loved Tennant so much, but I think Matt Smith is brilliant as the Doctor. And the stories have just been excellent the last couple of years.

And yes...when will Jenny show up? She must be out there somewhere...

David Tennant is still my favorite Doctor, but Matt Smith is growing on me. The new season has been great, so far. I will miss Amy and Rory.

I love Matt Smith!!!!!, but admit I have not gone back to watch many shows with Tennant. Definitely going to catch the ones with Donna, but am not a fan of Rose.....

My first Doctor was Tom Baker and he will always be my favorite. My David Tennant is who I voted for. I will be sorry to see the Ponds leave but can't wait to see the Weeping Angels again. Must remember to definitely watch that one during the day!

I David Tennant. I bawled my eyes out when he said "I don't want to go" and regenerated.

As an aside, driving through my mum's neighborhood today, I saw an angel statue on someone's lawn and told DH that I want a weeping angel on ours when we have a house. Maybe with a nice TARDIS nearby...

David Tennant for sure, but Matt Smith is good too. Though, I think I like him more because of the Ponds. I'm rather new to Doctor Who, so I'm thinking this year I'd like to see some of the original series on Netflix.

Agreed, Rose really isn't my favorite. I LOVED her at first, with 9, and the first time I watched with 10, I liked her, but going back and watching again, I feel like she is really lacking something? Maybe it's not really her that I dislike, but The Doctor after she left. Sooooo sulky. I felt really bad for Martha, every episode he compared her to Rose is felt like.

I LOVED Donna, and that was my favorite season with Ten. I loved that there was no attraction distracting things, he needed a friend, and that's what he got.


Eleven is my favorite I think, because I feel like he brings something that the others didn't. His energy is just THERE, I can feel it through the screen. Ten had some of it, you could just tell he absolutely loved playing the part (Did you all know that he became an actor JUST SO he could play in Doctor Who?), but he didn't have as much of the old man in a young mans body as Matt Smith does. And when eleven gets angry, I feel like it radiates, and I can really believe it, I never felt that way with Tennant.
