HI everyone--

I am helping a friend plan a trip and they are on quick service dining plan..I have given them our favorite spots but seeing how there are so many places to eat in WDW Resort I thought I would get some more opinions!

So please share the best and even worst that you have experienced. Thanks!

My faves:
AK: Flame Tree BBQ
Epcot: Fish and Chips stand in England
MK Pecos Bills
DHS: bleck im packing a lunch if I have too!! LOL

Pecos Bill's is the first that came to my mind. LOVE that topping bar!

Pizza Planet has pretty good portions too, and a yummy coffee flavored cupcake to boot!

Thanks for suggesting Pizza Planet--they don't have a hopper so I have a feeling they will be having at least 1 meal in each park

I would highly recommend Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney Marketplace and the Contempo Cafe at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

I agree with your list. I want to add Sun Shine seasons at epcot. Also, pastries & sandwiches from the France Bakery!
And yes, i'd much rather pack a lunch than eat QS at HS. The only decent option i think would be to grab a sandwich & cupcake from starring rolls. :)

Cosmic Rays in the MK has huge portions in their chicken/rib combo meal. I also really like Columbia Harbour House.
Tangerine Cafe in Morrocco has a Sharmwa platter that is really large portion too.

Cosmic Rays is a deo fav of our group chicken and ribs with mash potatoes lovely

Our ALL TIME favorite CS is Wolfgang Puck Express. The menu has great variety and the food is hot and flavorful!!! In December we had free QS dining for a week and we ate at WPE 5 times for dinner.
MK has got to be Columbia Harbor House. Love everything I've had there.
AK we really enjoy Flametree BBQ, along with it's great seating area on the water. :)

The place I won't give a second chance is ABC Commisary, just not good!!! :rolleyes1

If they are going to be in DTD Wolfgang Puck Xpress in the Marketplace is a great deal on the QSDP. We eat dinner there on all our trips several times and we only had the DDP once  Great selection between pizza, sandwiches and entrees. Plus once you order you take your drinks, the number card they give you and get a table. The food is brought out by a staff member.
They have beer & wine so we paid OOP for our adult beverage:drinking1 and got bottled water with our QSDP credit which was used later.
If you don't feel like eating dessert(or would rather get an ice cream from Ghiradellis;)) the cookies and brownis are prewrapped. We took ours back to eat as a snack at the pool the following day.

We were just at WDW last week on the regular DP, and we really enjoyed these:

Resorts: Contempo Cafe (curry veggie bake and marinated beef flatbread were decent-sized portions, plus GIANT cupcakes for dessert)
Epcot: Tangerine Cafe (chicken and lamb shwarma platter is delicious and a LOT of food, plus baklava for dessert)
MK: Columbia Harbor House (shrimp platter--we were tired of dessert, so we traded our dessert for extra sides of broccoli and cole slaw)

Forgot to add another vote for Columbia Harbor House in MK. :thumbsup2
As far as the other parks go... we do TS at Epcot & DHS and we don't stay long enough in AK for a meal (based on the menu we would most likely eat at Flametree)

I cast another vote for Wolfgang Puck XP in DTD. Great portion size, delicious food, great desert selection. You feel like you are at a table service restaurant.

My family loves Columbia Harbor House.

Least favorite would have to be the CS at Mexico. :sad2:

You can take a look at my QSDP review with pictures if you would like some more detail & comments. :)

My favorite in the entire World is Earl of Sandwich. The food is incredibly tasty, portions are large, and the brownies are to die for. It's definitely worth a trip to Downtown Disney.

As for the parks, I agree that Flame Tree is probably the best bet at Animal Kingdom.

I haven't found anything I'm crazy about at Magic Kingdom, so I suggest taking the monorail to the Grand Floridian and eating at Gasparilla. When the weather is good, it's particularly nice to sit outside at the tables by the water.

Hollywood Studios has the weakest selection. If your friends like pizza, they might try Pizza Planet. Otherwise, I'd suggest Starring Rolls. The sandwiches are large, and the desserts are even bigger. They most likely could split meals there. If your friends don't mind taking a little extra time, they could ride the boat to the Boardwalk and try the pizza there. (I think it's better than the Pizza Planet's.)

Now, Epcot is a whole different ballgame. Almost every country in World Showcase has tasty counter service. I like the fish and chips in the United Kingdom, the brats in Germany, anything in France and the chicken tacos in Mexico. I've also had good counter service in China. My least favorite counter service has been in America.

I wish I had one of the Earl's chocolate/peanut butter cupcakes right now!

Port Orleans Riverside, create your own pasta is tops for us. Pic your pasta, sauce and any or all of numerous add ins such as shrimp, chicken, veggies etc. Huge portions larger than we can eat.

For dessert we get the apple or cherry (dinner only) cobbler with a scoop of ice cream.

The boat ride from DTD is a great way to relax, or take bus to POR.

My favorites are:

MK - Cosmic Rays (Chicken/ribs..enough to share the meal)
Epcot - Sunshine Cafe (Land Pavillion) & Fish & Chips in England
DHS - ABC Commissary
AK - Flame Tree BBQ
DTD - Wolfgang Pucks Marketplace (the best food ever!!!)

Put another vote for Earl of Sandwich!!!!!!! Ate there in November, and I was shocked at how good it was!! My hubby and I split a sandwich, and I wish we hadn't!!! If the line wouldn't of been so long, I may have went back to get my other half!!! All these years, I thought I didn't want to eat there for "just a sandwich"... if I'd only known it was a GOOD sandwich!
