Faulty pin?

I've got a pin that I traded for last time I was in WDW (with a CM, it's genuine), it is the YOAMD pin with donald and goofy at the sides,

Well the writing that says YOAMD has rubbed off! and goofys foot is going horrible!

Should I try and trade it back with a CM or go to a pin shop in WDW and show it to them and see what they suggest?

Or am I blowing this totally out of proportion and all of the YOAMD pins do this?

I know you can't buy these pins, but as I traded one of my bought pins for it am I entitled to anything since it's totally ruined?
