Trying to decide on making the drive or not.

Is Father's Day weekend traditionally crowded or is it fairly reasonable? I know the concert could make it worse but that is mainly why we want to go down there.

Any past experiences?

Thanks.

The weekend isn't any more crowded than any other weekend in June but with two headline bands performing at the Studios Saturday night, the place will be rocking...not to mention very crowded.

Kinda figured. 3 Doors Down may be worth it though.

Labor Day last year threw us for a loop. We went down there just knowing it would be crawling and it was quite the opposite. We had a good time. So now we never know what to think.

Just as a follow up, we went and it was totally worth it. 3 Doors Down and ZZ Top put on a great show.

The crowds weren't as bad as we have seen, plus we got to do Despicable Me and see the new anniversary show, so we had a good time.

One question though- what is with the fence around that building where the Shrek/Donkey talking thing and the AMEX club are? Is that going to eventually be something?

Glad you had a great time. :thumbsup2

I have no idea about the fence, but that I believe is the same building where the Back To the Future props were recently removed from. Maybe more info in that thread.

Thanks, I should have read a little bit before posting since there seems to be a couple different ideas on what is coming next.

The only bad thing about the trip was waiting about 30 mins in line for HP and then waiting another 30 mins when the ride went down. By that time everybody was tired of waiting and we bailed.

The fence is around part of building 44 supposedly came down last night. It is/was attached to the Monster Cafe building.
