Ok , so trying everything else under the sun, I have now started the "Fat Smash Diet" as seen on Celebrity Fit Club on VH1. I read the book and started today with Phase 1 the detox program. Let me just say.....
I am so hungry I could probably gnaw my own arm off!
I have 9 days of this and I am going to have to pray that I can do this. I have seen it work. My body is probably just in shock from not getting the crap that I usually eat.
Just wanting to know if anyone else has tried this one or is on it? I need some encouragement, I really don't want to cheat. I can do it , I can do it..I can do it......
Thanks for listening.

It's really hard starting any diet. I don't know anything about this one.... but I myself have had a really tough day on my WW. I just keep saying the same thing you did.... I can do it- I can do it- I CAN DO IT!!

You can do it! I was wondering about that Fat Smash Diet. Let us know how it goes!

:grouphug:

I only lasted 4 days into detox. I was so desperate for some protein I got a spoon of peanut butter. I hate peanut butter.

Best of luck! :cheer2:

If you come up with any tricks I'd love to hear them because I think this "diet" really would work.

Ok, so day 2 and it was a choice between....bite someone's head off (my crabiness is insane), pass out from lack of protein (or anything with substance.), become anorexic like I feel like I am on my way (not really, but just by not eating), or eat a stinking piece of cheese.
Guess which I picked?
So not even 2 days on detox, sad, huh?
I am not craving junk, so I guess that is good, but I was getting the shakes so bad. But I honestly don't know how people do 9 days of detox. Crazy.
My husband thinks I am nuts. He just says...why don't you just watch what you eat and workout. Are you kidding me? HMMM...if it were only that easy. I am thinking about just kicking his 138 pound butt.
So for now no detox, hopefully I will just make good choices from now on. LOL.
One day at a time.

I tried something similar once. I could NOT do it. Weight Watchers is what works for me.

My husband (who can eat ANYTHING and never gains a pound) always tells me to just eat less. Don't put it in your mouth - done.

Of course, it makes perfect sense. Eat less and move more. It really is so simple. If only ...

I don't blame you for giving up after two days. It's very difficult. You just don't feel well at all and it's hard to focus on anything else.

Good luck!

You don't have to throw in the towel completely just because of a little cheese! lol. Everyone "cheats" on a diet once in a while and it's okay as long as it the exception and not the rule! Good luck with your weightloss!

I had to give up the Fat smash after a few days as well. I was eating so many grapes during the day that I went to the bathroom once and, lets just say it was obvious how many grapes I was eating.

One decent recipe I had with some protein was "fried" brown rice. In the rice I put egg whites and chick pease as well as a lof of veggies.

That doesn't sound like a very healthy plan. I don't really believe in diets. I lost all my weight by healthy eating, portion control and exercise. I have kept the weight off for over 8 years. I can be done! If you REALLY feel the need to follow a certain diet, I suggest reading the Abs Diet. It's just really some common sense stuff and you will not starve! :thumbsup2
