FastPasses for these attractions??

It's been a few years since we have been and this summer will be first trip setting up FPs in advance etc. I see many attractions that I never even considered a fast pass for such as the indiana jones spectacular, Fantasmic, FOLK, Muppetvision, illuminations, etc
Do you really need one for these attractions now??

We went to Disneyland a couplemofnyeaes ago and I remember having to get a FastPass for a couple of their nighttime entertainment events but they weren't tues in with the rest of your fastpasses. I just hate to use a FastPass for illuminations or Fantasmic and take away from something you really need it for.

I would say out of the ones you list the only slightly worthwhile one would be Fantasmic, and only if you got it as a 4th FPP after using your others that day. The rest of them you really don't need unless say it's Christmas week and that show is really important to you. I have been turned away from F! arriving a half hour before showtime (Thanksgiving weekend) but the others as long as you're there at least 15 minutes or so before showtime (which you would do with a FPP as well), you'll be fine. (Muppets you'll pretty much always get into the next show).

The only time I would ever use a FP+ for Illuminations is on July 4 or December 31. We did July 4 without getting a FP+ for Illuminations and wound up waiting 3 hours sitting out in the rain around world showcase so we could see the fireworks. This year, we snagged a FP+ for July 4 and are excited to get it. But unless you're going to see Illuminations on one of those 2 nights, I wouldn't bother. You should be able to just walk up about 15 minutes before time and find a decent spot somewhere.

I booked a FP for FotLK because there isn't a lot that we want to do at AK (used the others on Safari and Everest).

For the others, I'd try to get them as 4th FPs, but not original three.
