Fastpasses and Rider Swap

My daughter, son-in-law, grandbaby and I will be going in November. How should we do FPs for rider swap rides? Should we all 3 select a fastpass for each ride? This will be our first time utilizing the rider swap so I'm not sure how to plan for it.

Get the fastpass for all guests riding. When you get to the ride tell a cast member you are doing rider swap and they will assist you. It's very easy.
