Fastpass timing

I'm wondering how to "time" fastpasses to minimize backtracking or crisscrossing the park.

DH is anti-planning, so I hope to make everything flow as much as possible, so that it doesn't feel like a rigid schedule. We have 2 MK days, and for day 1 I'd like to FP Enchanted tales, Space mountain, and Buzz. We will go to PP first and then make our way around fantasyland and tomorrow land, but how do i know how to time the FP's so that it feels natural? Thanks for any advice!

The closest you can schedule FP+ is one-hour intervals.

That allows nearly one hour, and up to two hours, between rides.
That's plenty of time.

I'm sorry, but that's an unanswerable question.

I'll say between 90 minutes and 3.5 hours, depending on the day, the time of year, your stamina, what attractions you can FP, what attractions you can "skip."

Just about anything can affect your timing.

When are you going? Crowd levels vary according to the season, and even with the day of the week. Also, is there morning EMH on the day you plan to visit MK? All these things can/will affect the time needed to see "all" of fantasyland.

Hopefully the week before memorial day 2016. I guess I'll plan on 3-4 hours in fantasyland. I know DH does not want to feel rushed or scheduled down to the minute, but i also know that no planning will not work. So I'm trying to plan in a way that will feel natural, if that makes any sense.

Also, no morning EMH. Hubs and kids are on vacation and I was happy to have everyone agree to rope drop

Since you are starting out at PP, you can hit some of the rides in Fantasyland. The Haunted Mansion is close to PP. You could follow that with IASW, Pooh, Little Mermaid, Dumbo, Barnstormer, Tomorrowland Speedway and so on. I wouldn't schedule a FP before 10:00 - 10:30 because lines are fairly short for most attractions early in the morning.

You can do the same thing in the second morning and maybe start at Big Thunder and Splash and work you way down to Pirates and the Jungle Cruise.

Just think about what time you'll be in the areas of the park where the attractions you have the fp for are

Well that's what i don't know lol. I guess its safe to say morning to early afternoon for fantasyland and late afternoon to evening for tomorrowland?

Are you going to try to do all attractions in each land? This has a strong issue on how I would plan the FP+. If you plan to do all the attractions in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, then that can have some aim on when I would FP+ so I was still in the same areas. I would probably not plan to FP+ ETWB before 11 am, but might plan for after noon.

Based on an 11am - 12 pm FP+, you should have enough time to do PP, iasw, PhilharMagic, and Carrousel. I would still check my time after each attraction. I have done these in 1 - 2 hours depending on time of day and year. After those attractions, it might be close to 11 or just after 11 so you could head for ETWB and work your way around the upper portion of FL and then circle down to Tea Party and Pooh. If you are doing good on time, after after the Carrousel, then you could try to see about Pooh and/or Tea Party before heading up to ETWB and still keep the flow going.

I would plan Space and Buzz for evening and probably directly back to back. This way you can either find something to do between or do the first one close to the end of the FP+ time and then go straight to the other one.

One thing I would suggest, basically look over the maps to know where attractions you want to go are. Then you can at least see what attractions you might want to do in between. Here is a ride length listing, just make sure to remember that this does not include waiting in line, loading and unloading. I usually add about 5 minute for loading and unloading at each as sometimes there might be a slow down. Thank you this helps! We have 2 preteens and a 4 year old, so I'm guessing someone will be doing most or all of the attractions. I think this plan will work the best. Now i just need to figure out our other park days. Its probably better to plan more time than less, so we don't feel rushed. Thanks again!
