What do you guys think is the best strategy for Fastpass+ now Soarin is back up?

In my touring plans at the moment (for August) I've got two evenings at Epcot because we've only got three days to do all four parks this time. One of the days I'm going to AK in the daytime and am using our fastpasses there, and then other day i'm using our Tier 1 fastpass on Test Track. Our plan was just to line up for either Soarin or Test Track on the evening we couldn't use fastpasses in the park, and keep the Test track fastpass for the other evening. But because Soarin is new, do you think it would be better to use Fastpass for that, and then line up for Test Track? Any thoughts much appreciated.

Can I ask a TT question if you do single rider line? Is there still the interactive queue to go through? We have a family of 5 and I'd rather not use a FP+ ( got one for FEA) and want to RD Soarin'. So, wasn't sure how TT would work with 5 "single riders" in our party.

Are you staying at a Disney resort? If so, I would utilize Epcot's extra magic hours.

In the single rider line there is a place where you can design your car, or you can opt to walk right past.

When you get to the loading platform, the CM will load from the regular line first. The cars hold 6, three in each row. If there is a party of two, there will be a spare seat in that row. If your party of 5 went through the regular line, they would place a single rider in the sixth seat.

After loading from the regular line the CM will load from the single rider line to fill in all the available empty seats. Single riders are seperated from the rest of their party. Sometimes I am placed in the same car as my husband, one of us in the front row and one in the back row. Sometimes we aren't in the same car, but we load at the same time since multiple cars load at once. It's possible that with a party of 5 you might not all load at once and some of your party may need to wait for the next group of cars to load.

We catch up with each other in the gift shop.

Our strategy is probably the same as most DISers. Have a FP for FEA, hit Soarin at RD and then do TT as a single rider. My dream plan is to try to get multiple NBFPs for Soarin and one for TT. We shall see.

Thanks guys - seems TT single rider is the way to go, preferable in EMH. I'm staying on property so all good!
