Fastpass strategy - does it help to get 2 in my group now, if I can't get the third till later?

I won't bore you with the details, but in our party of three, only two can buy tickets now. The third will have to wait.

I'm already inside my 60 day window, so I'm anxious to get the fastpasses that I can.

So here are my two questions:

1. If I get fastpasses for two now, will it be easier to add the third person to our group later, or is it pointless to do anything until the third person can get their ticket?

2. If that third person is ultimately going to be the "lead" person, can we then transfer the fastpass grouping to him? (Not sure if I'm using the terminology correctly as I've never done FP+, but I take it one person - in this case the third person - has to be the "lead planner" if we have separate MDE accounts.)

Any insight is appreciated.

If you are all linked and eligible there doesn't need to be a "lead." Under what circumstances would there be a "lead?"

That noted. Someone without tickets is not eligible. Whether you can add them at a later time or not will depend on how late they acquire tickets, and the popularity of the attraction. It the FPs for a certain attraction are not available they won't get one even if you copy them. They'll be assigned a different time or a different attraction.

I would secure the desired plans for 2 now and then see what is available when the 3rd ticket is purchased. You can always cancel / rebook yours at that time if needed.
