We’re from Utah and so we go to Disneyland fairly frequently and the last time we went to WDW was 2016. On our recent trips to Disneyland in using Maxpass (which I overall like better than my experience with FP+ since I heard about the refresh strategy after our trip), we have consistently found a return time that we liked and when we tried to book it, it said that time was no longer available and it gave us the next available time (Maxpass is the same time as normal Fastpass unless somebody cancels theirs and then you can get an earlier time). I don’t remember this ever happening with FP+. Has anyone ever found a FP+ time that worked for them and then it said it was no longer available?

Only if the WDW FP system is glitching. When searching for a day of FP, Select it when it comes into view or it may not be there the next time you Refresh your Search.

This happened to me once. I found a time for our next ride and tapped the time right as the doors to HM opened, and I walked in before I tapped "confirm." But, once I walked in, I no longer had any internet signal. so, I couldn't confirm until after the ride ended, and we walked out. But, I got an error message, instead. Apparently it timed out (I guess).

I got a time for the same ride, but 20 some odd minutes later than the first one, so not too big a deal.
